Q: can the handle be changed to th other side?

Q: Will this product broadcast extinguish fire ant bait. Looking for 1-1.5 lbs per acre broadcast rate.

  • A: Kevin, thank you for your question. Ant baits can be tricky. With a rate of 1-1.5 lbs. per acre would equal approximately .5 oz per 1000 sq feet. This spreader may not meet your expectations at that rate. It was recommended by a distributor of this product to distribute a light coating of about a foot wide, spaced every 10 feet.     Perfect for my yard!

    I just moved into a new home and my yard is not very large. I had a push spreader and it was too large for my new lawn. I bought this Brinly handheld spreader and it is perfect. I can overseed and fertilize my lawn very quickly and can pour any extra material right back into the bag once I am done. In addition, it doesn't take up any space in my garage.

    Super useful and durable spreader for quick jobs. Since this spreader is so light and portable, it is particularly good for spreading icemelt on stairways.

    I've got a smaller yard and this handheld is the perfect size to cover our property! I love the scoop shape because it makes it extremely easy to fill with material straight from the bag. Very easy to use!
