The Cydectin Oral Sheep Drench is approved for the treatment and control of infections due to internal parasites of sheep. Cydectin sheep feed supplement is an easy, ready-to-use dewormer. These sheep supplements are effective in the treatment and control of adult and larval (L4) stages of brown stomach worm (Teladorsagia circumcincta), barber pole worm (Haemonchus contortus), hairworm (Trichostrongylus axei) and other parasites listed on the label. Administer 1 mL dose orally per 11 lb. of body weight with standard drenching equipment. Do not use on sheep under 4 months of age.

Cydectin is a decent medication and pairs well with Valbazen which I had bought at the same time. BTW the Valbazen bottle was not completely full (500mg) and the seal under the top was missing. I felt offended that I had purchased a returned or opened product.

We have had excellent results with the cydectin oral drench using it on our goat and hair sheep herd. Two weeks after the treatment fecal samples showed a significant decrease to total zero parasitic infestation. I would definitely recommend it to any sheep or goat farmers

Large dosing schedule on the back makes it easy and very clear on how much to administer to the animal. With the extreme wet summer out parasite loads were higher than normal causing some of the sheep to have scours. This cleared them up and they are doing well now.
