Wish the tank was bigger and had more oxygen. You definitely don't get your money worth from it at all.

These are too small, as other reviews have noted. If it burns at a 4:1 ratio, the oxygen tanks should be available in larger sizes, or bulk package for cost savings.

The oxygen cylinder is too small and overpriced. If using in conjuction with Mapp for brazing you can count on the oxygen to empty within 10-15 minutes of use for a nuetral flame. The brazing kit would be fine if you could get a larger oxygen cylinder and the price was lower. In reality, this kit works great for quick brazing projects on thin material. I use it to braze steel hydraulic tractor lines that have small holes rubbed through due to vibration. I first purchased the kit to braze a 3/4inch steel nipple into a steel hydraulic tank. Both the nipple and tank were 20-24gauge metal. It took two cylinders of oxygen to complete the weld.

Pitiful small amount of gas (1.2 oz) for the price. If you have a job of any size you might as well have it done professionally. Took me 2 bottles for a rather small project. Metal over 1/16 inch is gonna take a lot of heat (gas) to braze. It's a good product, but very costly.

I read all the reviews on how fast the oxygen depletes , and its 100% true. I used a bottle of oxygen for brazing project about 1 inch diameter and it could not provide enough heat to the sheet metal repair area to complete the job. I have a incomplete brazing job and a empty bottle of oxygen that did'nt even last 10 min. This welding set is complete waste of money. Better to buy a professional oxy acetylene rig. Don't waste your time with this its a complete joke. I would even give this a one star rating, but its the lowest rating you can give to submit a review.

Call store in vass nc to verify they had them in stock they replied with they have 24 on hand.when I as arrived at store the they informed me they didn't.a waste of time and gas because of mismanagement

Seems there is NO competition out there for the Oxygen and Mapp Gas. Is there a simple way to tell when the Oxygen Canister is low? The Full and empty seem to feel the same weight? Why can't BernOmatic come out with a larger canister?

Better buy several.should be very cheap as air runs out extremely fast

These oxygen tanks are good quality at a good price.

This is a great product for oxygenating my beer yeast starter cultures, and for adding O2 late in the fermentation of high gravity beers. Yeah, it is expensive for what you get. But you only need a few seconds of O2 and the yeast are very happy to get it! I use a 0.5 micron difusser head. One bottle is good for MANY starter cultures and/or batches of high gravity beer.

New oxygen tank ended in 3 minutes of use? That must be a bad joke. Stay away from that product.

Soldering 2 small copper pipe joins and ran out of oxygen. Absolutely no chance of recommending this product as unable to finish the smallest job and replacement cost of new Oxygen cylinder is way too much. When using mapp gas and oxygen I get a much higher temperature than mapp and air plus the flame is much smaller and focused than my mapp-air torch. If you want to cut a big steel plate in half then get yourself a plasma torch: You can only stuff so much oxygen into this type of cylinder (Pressure limitiations) so don't be surprised if you have the flame turned way up and the gas runs out fast. If you want something that can deliver a hot-precise flame in a rig that you can carry with one hand then this is the torch for you.

The product clearly says/indicates "High-intensity flame", which mean it's burns faster (4:1 ratio) which means less burn time, common logic/sense people. If you want to do your 4 bolts nuts factory job, get a propane/Mapp rail Tanker.

Used with propane on smith little torch soldering jewelry. Propane lasts much longer and burns slower. Company needs to re-price their oxygen based on effectiveness of product

Such low capacity one can not even do any worth while project. Very expensive for what little you get. I wish I had not purchased this torch in the first place because now it is a total waste of money because I will never use it again. Trust me. DON'T waste your money on this!!!

It appears that you can only get the Ox bottles in USA, the propane and M gas are ready available in the UK so why is the OX not available.

I honestly thought it might have been almost empty when I bought it, but I don't think so. Now I see someone else noticed this too. Do not buy these. They suck.
