Q: I have a 38" chest, 37" waist, 29" inseam, height 5' 8". I bought a Regular. Legs are too long, everything else fits O.K., but I have a really hard time putting them on over clothes because I can't spread the shoulders sufficiently to don them easily.

- A: Hi, You definitely want a Tall length which is designed for 34" inseam on jeans. Our size guidelines are based on chest sizes, rather than waist size. Chest Size XL = 48-50 2XL = 52-54 3XL = 56-58 4xl = 60-62 I hope that helps.3 years agoHelpful?

Excellent Quality Berne Coveralls

I ordered two pairs of Berne coveralls and I am about 5'10" and 170 lbs. According to one review that I read, a person my size had a good fit with the "large ", (chest size 46), size coverall. When the coveralls arrived, the leg length was about 2 inches too long, but I just roll them up, and the fit is fine. The material is polyester and cotton, and it appears to be very durable and comfortable...I washed the coveralls before wearing. The second pair I ordered was large-short, and the length of the legs was closer to being an exact fit...I wear jeans and a hooded sweatshirt underneath when working on our farm. These Berne coveralls are the best I have seen and well made. The shipping was amazing being free and at my door in about 3 days. I recommend Berne coveralls to anyone working outside or on a farm like ours in SW, Michigan; they should be warm on a cold day judging from the quality of the fabric...may be too hot on a warm day.

The only accurate statement about the item was that it was short!! Chest was not 38". The zipper was not long enough to get into the garment without forcing myself in. Very uncomfortable.

Ordered wrong size

Exactly what I wanted but ordered the wrong size. When using the size chart you need to measure your waist (belly) not your chest. My chest size indicated a large but my waist says extra large
