- A: Your tractor will work well with the landplane.. The rule of thumb is for every ft of implement you need 5hp. The minimum hp for the landplane is 35hp.2 years agoHelpful?

- A: The rule of thumb is for every FT of implement you need 5 HP of Tractor, PTO driven implements – you would need the HP at the PTO. This is a 7ft Land Plane. You would need a minimum of 35HP. Unfortunately your tractor will not work with this implement.5 years agoHelpful?

I bought this land plane a few weeks ago. I have a very long driveway and this is really doing a nice job. Using it out on the county gravel too. Does a much nicer job than their motor grader. Should have bought one of these years ago.
