Apparently womens wide is a men's narrow. So if you have larger feet like me (Womens 11 to 11.5) they are more narrow than regular width shoes.

I stand on concrete for 8 hours plus a day and was needing a comfortable, stable shoe. I did a lot of research and ordered this one. I am so sorry to say they are very uncomfortable. There is a wide toe cup as they say, but it seems wide on one side, narrow on the other. My big toes were rubbing on the side of the shoe. That has never happened to me before. They are very stiff and larger than what the size should be. I felt like I was "clomping" instead of walking. I could not walk normal in these shoes. I am not one to usually write reviews of this nature, but I had high expectations for these because Ariat is known for quality.

I stand and work all day on a concrete floor. I needed a new pair of shoes and from the reviews I thought this would be a good choice. I am not sure why the reviews are as good as they are for this shoe. They are heavy, the cushion is thin, they are very hot,( my feet were on fire all day) and they rub on my toes. I ordered my size, but these came almost an inch larger than my other shoes, sneakers for boots. Where the ties and the shoe tongue end, they press into my ankle. I have never had any of these problems with any other shoe period. For the money, and just being Ariat in general I expected better. I never like to give bad reviews, but these are not what is described. These shoes are very uncomfortable. .
