Quality lessening every time

I've been buying these for quite a while now and I've noticed the quality has been steadily dropping, the bags have been containing more loose material along with the pellets. When you do scoop up pellets, they are whole and usable, not falling apart so it makes me think they are filling bags with the loose ends just to fill it. It's very dusty now and find wearing a mask is helpful when scooping into buckets for feeding. Usually I just get by with this product because the price at the time was ok and the goats eat it up regardless, but now every bag is under 50 lbs and I don't like be shorted. On average they are 43 lbs and after a while this really adds up on top of a price increase! I'll be looking for something else to replace this if the quality doesn't improve.

Not very palatable Funny Smell

This is not like a normal alfalfa pellet, It has a strange smell , that does not smell like any sort of hay I've ever smelled. Not even a hint of alfalfa smell. Horses do not like the smell and will not eat this, It's not a mold smell But its not a fresh forage smell either.
*Also found hole corn kernels in this, I Don't feed my horses corn!
* Corn does not belong in a alfalfa pellet!
*Alfalfa pellets should be a lucerne hay alfalfa only forage,
These pellets are not a alfalfa hay forage they are a mix grain pellet, with some amount of alfalfa,
Definitely not quality alfalfa hay pellets.

Large size pellets did not soak well

My older horse did not like the taste of these. For my older horse because theses were large pieces both wide and long I soaked them in water for 2hours However even soaking the pellets some pieces were still firm. Palatability just wasn’t there for my horse who normally is not picky
