Q: Do you know the nsc %?

1 Answer
  • A: We do not request that NSC be calculated in our analysis done by Equi-Analytical in NY. What I can tell you is that NSC is a combination of WSC (Water Soluble Carbohydrates) and Starch So from our test: WSC equals 28.2 g/lb. + Starch which equals 17.7 g/lb. = 45.9 g/lb. (NSC) However, not all WSCs contribute to higher glucose levels because they are not entirely absorbed in the digestive tract. The results of these tests were calculated from production on 3/21/21.

Q: I asked before should I weigh dry or wet. The answer was dry. That means I would be feeding a whole bag in 2 days as my horse cannot chew hay at all. Can I get a confirmation on this

1 Answer
  • A: Dry Weight, Feed by Weight not Volume. 1%-2% of the horses body weight daily The recommendation is the pellets be soaked two parts water to one part pellet for at least 30 minutes. Cubes should be soaked for at least 45 minutes to an hour. It is important to feed pellets or cubes at ground level, allowing the horse to extend his neck in his natural grazing position. Always use room temperature or cold water when soaking forage as hot water not only cooks them but can also cause them to ferme

Staple in my feed program

My horses love these pellets. They smell and look very fresh with basically no dust waste in the bag. I go through one 50lb bag a day for my 11. I mix with their supplements and there is zero left in the bucket. They are the jumbo pellets so when they drop one on the ground they’re easy to find. My horses look and feel excellent with these in their diet and it is a staple for them on an all forage based diet. I’m so glad TSC carries them at an affordable price. I have been buying these for a couple years now and bags are consistently great with no change.

Yes, I recommend this product.

App changes identity if u put diff ship to name

App can’t reliably separate payer and receiver many people Voard horses and need to get feed ship to store. You put the receiver or barn managers name on delivery on YOUR ACCR , the app then changes your identity over to that person who is just receiving a shipment for you. Worst coding on an app I have ever seen. After sucking hours of my life to remedy with EVEEY ORDER for 18 months I’m foregoing neighborhood store, points, and one stop shot bc the company doesn’t get it. No one should have to choose convenience but still going every month to fix the TS mistakes.

Do Not Purchase

Worst Product ever. Supplier changed feed pellet with out letting buyers know. I have purchased this product before, and my horse has no reaction, and this second bag sent him into an absolute allergic reaction. My horse has had absolutely no reactions until this second bag. I discontinued this feed and bought a different product and all the allergy reactions went away. Will not be purchasing again. When I also went to contact their customer support, the email they gave me is not even active.

No, I do not recommend this product.

TSC gave me the wrong item

TSC gave me oats instead and would only issue a partial refund for the unopened wrong item. I have goats and a donkey. I cannot use oats. Then I couldn't get help in the store so I just gave up. Guess I'm eating the cost of this feed I cannot use. NOT HAPPY with TSC
