Advantage Multi for Dogs is a monthly topical solution that prevents heartworm, controls intestinal parasites, and treats and kills fleas. Formulated with moxidectin and imidaclopridas, works to control new and existing flea infestations, sarcoptic mange and intestinal parasites, such as roundworms, hookworms and whipworms. It also eliminates adult fleas and protects against heartworm disease. Reapply monthly to give them year-round safety from parasites. How it Works

Advantage Multi for Dogs® is a ready-to-use single-dose topical solution. The solution comes in an applicator tube and may be colorless or yellow. The dosage schedule and dosage formulation are intended to provide at least 4.5 mg/lb. (10 mg/kg) of imidacloprid and 1.1 mg/lb. (2.5 mg/kg) of moxidectin, based on body weight.

Special Precautions

  • Accidental ingestion by dogs can result in serious side effects, including generalized muscle tremors, panting, incoordination, dilated pupils, salivation, or depression. In dogs sensitive to avermectin, the side effects can be more serious and could include coma or death.
  • For 30 minutes following treatment, make sure that dogs can't lick the application sites on other treated dogs or themselves. Separate dogs from one another after treatment to minimize accidental ingestion risk.
