5 months ago- A: No, the outdoor sensor transmits the temperature data on a 433 MHz radio frequency that the indoor display unit receives. It cannot connect to multiple sensors and using an identical unit in the same area may cause interference. Q: Specifications state minimum temperature is 32. Does this mean it will not read below 32 degrees?
5 months ago- A: The 32 degree temperature minimum is for the indoor display unit only. It's internal thermometer is designed for indoor use and can only read down to 32 degrees. The outdoor sensor can measure temperatures of -40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit. Q: Our thermometer doesn't track the daily high and low. It only tracks the overall high and low, it doesn't reset daily. Are we missing a switch or something?
5 years ago- A: The high and low temperature records are automatically cleared every 24 hours. The high and low records clear each day at the time the batteries were installed. For example, if the batteries were installed at 6:00pm, then high/low records will reset at 6:00pm daily. Q: changed batteries on both sensor & inside monitor. Inside temp. working fine on monitor, but the outdoor temp, etc. does not show on monitor. I'm not sure of model number, but it is an Acurite.
