iv'e been looking for a quality food for my 2 year old german shepard,and10 year black lab i was using wellness which is very expensive,(a very good product) but as stated expensive i tried this product, and love the ingredients and vitimans in this food. My dogs both love this food, i use a mix kibble of 4health and wellness, and a 4 health soft food as a topper..great product.Both of my dogs coats have a nice shiny coat.

The fact that broth and chicken are listed first in the ingredients may not matter to many people, but it matters to some considering the label says "beef and vegetable stew". The first four ingredients listed on this can of food are: Beef Broth, Chicken, Egg, Peas, Beef. Since the the way pet food is made, the first two ingredients are what make up most of the product and the rest of the list are added in very small amounts. This would be better labeled as Chicken stew with Beef Broth, as there is most likely only a tiny bit of real beef mixed in with the chicken.  The label is misleading if you are looking for something that only contains beef, or if you have a pet with a chicken or poultry allergy (it happens).  My dog isn't allergic, but I do like to read my labels and make sure what I am buying is what is in the can.  So, I bought the chicken & rice, lamb & rice, and chicken & vegetable stew (which is the same as the so-called beef stew, but is all chicken). He liked them, he probably would have liked this one, too, but again, I can't stand misleading labels.
