For instance, some medications may be prepared in different strengths or forms, such as turning a tablet into a liquid, to make administration easier.

Yes. Compounded medications can only be dispensed with a valid prescription from a licensed veterinarian. This requirement helps ensure your pet receives the correct medication, dosage, and strength for safe and appropriate treatment.

Compounded preparations dispensed through Allivet are manufactured by Wedgewood Connect, an FDA-registered outsourcing facility that adheres to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards. Wedgewood Connect maintains required state licenses and registrations.
