BLUE SEAL Sentinel Care CARB-GUARD is a low protein high fat, pellet formulated with low levels of starch and sugars. Sentinel Care CARB-GUARD offers a safe and natural way to feed mature horses at all levels of performance.
- DAILY GUIDE: It is necessary to adjust the feeding rate of Sentinel Care CARB-GUARD to the condition of the horse. Provide horses with good-quality hay or pasture and salt free-choice. Provide plenty of fresh water.
- Suggested program is based on offering grass or mixed grass hays. If feeding legume hays, rich pasture, or if Sentinel CARB-GUARD is fed below the recommended feeding range, consult your Kent Nutrition Group feed representative for a ration recommendation.
- Comments: For additional mineral-vitamin fortification, or if Sentinel Care CARB-GUARD is fed below the recommended feeding range, feed the appropriate Winning Touch Equine Supplement, depending on type of hay being fed.

We recommend in most cases, you slowly transition your animal when changing to a Blue Seal product or even between Blue Seal products. This allows the animal's digestive tract to properly adjust to the feed.
