Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid wood burning stove Very good stove for the money well built and sturdy, I installed this stove myself I recommend 2 or 3 people help because it is heavy . Puts out alot of heat which radiates though the house. Large glass door is nice base is solid and strong , will save money on heating costs for sure. Blizzard, supper storms loosing power because of snow no problem this stove can get you through anything happy with my purchase .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Works incredible well, beyond expectations. Very happy with my purchase. Haven't had to turn on the electric furnace since I got it. Puts out a lot of heat, and blower is very quiet. I Would definitely recommend it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average Stove It meets minimum requirements. It does its job. You can't bank it for 12 hours. It does get hot with very little draft. As for heating 2500 square feet, that is a bit of a stretch, but that might be how the house is configured. It definitely warms our floors. We use it as a supplement and the main heat in the base floor. The main heat source runs less and that is good. We've only used it a week so far.

does this stove have a rear chimney also or can you lower it. do you have this type of stove with rear chimney.

Asked by: jmlov
WoodPro wood stoves are designed to have the chimney connect to the flue collar on top of the stove and not out the back. We highly recommend having 3-4 feet of rise before using any elbows on a wood stove. This vertical pipe promotes a good draft, especially when the stove is not at full operating temperature. We also recommend a minimum of 12-15 feet of total vertical rise on any wood stove chimney with minimal elbows. Higher than 15 feet is just fine.

having difficulty getting a constant pull for draft.does it need to pull fresh air? going from a 6 inch to a 8 inch triple wall through pipe and up? leave the door open until i get a draft going tough to maintain?

Asked by: rickybobby1
Depending on how tight your home is and even how tall your chimney is, you may a need fresh air kit so the stove can establish a good draft. Poor draft will especially be noticeable when the fire is starting or running on low. I recommend calling our toll-free tech line and they can talk through your installation and what you can do to remedy this. (877) 427-3316

Do the logs go in crossways or length way

Asked by: gray goast
21" logs will fit crossways in this stove. The logs can fit either way but if they load front to back then the logs would have to be shorter than 21".
