Item Information

Add a splash of color to your yard with the Woodlink Red Bird's Choice Squirrel-Resistant Feeder! The easy-to fill-top locks securely, and combined with an adjustable weight spring-operated perch deters access to squirrels and larger birds. Single-sided feeding provides for best bird viewing. This hopper-type feeder features an adjustable weight setting on a spring-operated perch that closes access to seed and lets you select which birds to feed. Holds up to 9 lb. of mixed seed, sunflower seeds, peanut halves or safflower. Large capacity requires less frequent filling. Stop birds from shoveling food out with the no-waste seed-saver baffle. Durable, chew-resistant powder coated steel body with a zinc-plated hanger. Simply unlatch and lift the squirrel resistant lid for easy filling and cleaning, and the seed level indicator window shows when feeder is empty. The overhanging roof and hopper keep the seed dry and protected from the elements. Top locks securely deterring squirrel access while the weight-activated perch prevents access to seed ports.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made This is our second one. We still use one we’ve had for ten years. Birds flock to it. Holds nearly a bag of well protected birdseed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wish it did as suggested I have yet to get a " Squirrel Resistant " Feeder that worked. Squirrels are very clever and relentless. They are great problem solvers and while it might take a day or two or three, but, they will figure out how to get the seed they want.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice size I bought this for my wife for the birds she loves to feed, but does not like to feed squirrels. Works well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Squirrel problem Feeder works as advertised. 1 squirrel found out that he could lift the cover and get into the storage area. Solved by putting a strap around feeder.

Will this type of feeder keep White Winged Doves from feeding?

Asked by: CLW51
The perch is weight support adjustable for just this reason. If you keep it at the medium sensitivity setting, this should keep the average White Winged Dove from being able to sit on the perch for feeding.
