Rated 5 out of 5 by from Motorcycle chain My BMW motorcycle sat for months so I took it out and got my chain wet. It sat for another few months and I came to find a rusty chain, so I hit it a few times with WD40 and it came back to life. It worked wonders on old plumbing pipes too!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Spray problem I purchased the WD40 specialist water resistant silicone lubricant today and the spray straw doesnt work. The o-ring fell out of the can when moving the straw to its spray position. I am assuming the can top is defective as it doesn’t spray normally either. Disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible This is NOT a grease. It has a consistency slightly thicker than WD-40. I used it yesterday and it has NOT set....it is a light liquidy film. I plan to return it to the store; don't waste your time if you are in need of "white lithium GREASE".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great on locks and hinges Used it on locks and hinges. Everything works. It have been like 5 months now and nothing is stuck or sticky. Much more better than the old oil spray. Also good on windows if you have a hard to open window. I recommend try using it. Spray it on the left and right side. Pull the window up and down so it will be well lubricant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for reloading equipment I love this stuff to keep my reloading dies from rusting and I spray it on my wifes treadmill belt but the new top makes a mess and wastes a lot of the product. It would be great if they went back to the older style top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Using in 105 degree heat with no dripping ! I have been using WD40 since I can remember, and while looking for grease to use on my restoration project, I found that WD now provides. New dispenser style took a while to get used to, but very pleased with options of needle and spray dispensing. I live in Arizona, and need a product that stays in place in extreme heat, and doesn't capture grit and dust - so far VERY pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gliding Patio doors Works great on the medal tracks the doors slide on. Helps clean the rails and helps the door glide smoothly. Also found great to use with a rag on the rubber gasket that separates the door, prevents the rubber from sticking.g

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonder product! I have been using WD-40 for years. It can be used on door locks, rusty door knobs, car door locks. It is a great lubricant for locks because it does not contain graphite, which wears the inner mechanisms. I have even used WD-40 on fish bait for catfish! WD-40 makes my replacement windows easier to raise and lower. WD-40 makes rusted screws loosen. Also loosens lug nuts on automobile tires. I havde a can in the house and in the trunk of my automobile. WD-40 is truly a wonder product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Use it for Scooter maintenance I brought it for lubricating rubber components for my scooter. Here is my experience with this product. 1) lubricating properties is good and lasting. 2) doesn't swell rubber like oil base lubricant. 3) does help in preventing bolt and nut from rusting but don't expect miracle in tropical environment. 4) doesn't dry in seconds as advertised. Days later it still wet. Might be the silicone oil left behind. 5) smooth out my scooter brake master cylinder piston when it get rough. 6) use to prevent rust for battery terminals and bolt and nut. 7) use to prevent front fork and rear suspension from squeaking. If you need a dry silicone spray, look elsewhere. If a good and slow drying lube that is safe on rubber is what you need, you can look into it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not great for speed cubing Wd 40 silicone spray seems like it would do well with mechanical and automotive applications, however it just doesn't live up to the standard set by crc silicone for speedcubing purposes. Not great for lowering static friction (although once the parts get moving its pretty smooth) and the quick dry claim is simply not true. You would think anything dissolved in propane and butane would dry in minutes at most, but I let this sit in open air for HOURS and there are still wet spots. I'll hold on to this for future automotive needs but I am going back to crc for any cube lubrication

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Smart straw was not useable I just bought this to use on a hinge and the "smart straw" broke immediately. when I flipped it up an o-ring fell out and when I took it apart I noticed holes were missing in the plastic piece so it was unuseable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for my fifth wheel hitch I apply WD-40 silicone lube to the moving parts of my fifth wheel hitch. Since it's water proof, it doesn't wash out in the rain like other lubricants. I only have to relubricate every three months or so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome, simply Awesome I work on the bay with salt water as a bulkheader/dock builder, and our pulleys get stuck and start to rust. Without WD40 we would not be able to do our job. Thanks WD-40 for a wonderful product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works on Guitar Nuts! Heard this worked from a Guitar magazine as I do a lot of modifications on electric guitars. Put this on the nut (the string positioner at the top of the fretboard,) and it works way better than the old standby Graphite, and for sure it's less messier. In fact, it even removed some of the Graphite mess left behind the previous time!
