Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another amazing product from WD! I had a tie rod end jam nut that would not budge with all my weight! 220 lbs! I searched every blog on the web and tried almost everything others had suggested and still nothing! Bought this product today sprayed on when i got home, ate dinner then went at it, and presto!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome, works better then i expected Picked this up to try it out on a project i had going. I needed to remove the motor from a pump on a pressure washer made in 1989. I was worried that the shaft was rusted to the pump, or the 4 bolts would be hard to break loose. I sprayed WD-40 rust release on it that night and let it soak for 24 hours. When i went to remove the engine from the pump, it was surprisingly easy. The bolts came off, and shaft slides out no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WD40 Rust Release WORKS The exhaust manifold collector bolts were rusted solid on my 1976 truck. Having broken them during removal on other trucks, and knowing it meant complete manifold removal if they broke, I was determined to remove those nuts intact. I tried heat. I tried other products. Then I tried WD40 Rust Release. Sprayed the whole stud and nut down and let it soak for an hour. All three exhaust collector studs came clean out of the manifold without damage. I believe this product works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from found a new use (sort of) I fish fresh and salt water ALOT. Reel shaft bearings tend to get noisy after a while regardless of rinsing after every use and general maintenance. A little bit of of this product goes a long way! Keeps bearings true longer and displaces water. After over a year of use on all of my reels, we're noise free and corrosion free. A little spray on the shaft and bearings while cleaning has made a huge difference

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really really works Restoring a 1974 Ducati 750 GT. I sprayed it on the 80 spoke nipples and they all came loose and I was able to disassemble both wheels with out breaking one spoke. That's pretty amazing, those were spokes that hadn't been touched in 40 years. I also treated all the bolts taking the bike apart, what a huge difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just buy it! I am a plumbing and heating engineer. I use small amounts of WD-40 on a daily basis. I use it primarily for freeing up seized nuts and bolts. I think WD-40 does this task admirably. When the WD-40 team brought out the new WD-40 Rust Release Penetrant spray I knew I just had to try it. I wasn't quite sure how much better it would be at releasing seized up bolts. I would have been impressed with even a slight improvement on the original WD-40 formula. I used it a couple of times last week and found the WD-40 Rust Release Penetrant spray far superior to original WD-40 for freeing up rusted parts. For me it worked in seconds. I would recommend WD-40 Rust Release Penetrant spray to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you are asking for a "quick fix" forget it. I just used this on a yard sweeper that was "frozen" For anyone who is expecting an instant release, forget it. This is a great product though. After about 5 minuets of working it, the sweeper works now. Thank you WD 40 for your product, I think I could recommend it to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked better than PB Blaster on a 40 year old PTO I got a free can of WD-40 Rust release and I was shocked that it worked better than PB Blaster. The PTO U-joints were rusted and frozen. The best feature I liked was the cap. You do not loose the spray wand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from unstuck rings in performance engine I used wd40 penetrating spray on my 1968 302 engine. I'd had it rebuilt and let it for some time (2 years) and somehow a sparkplug was borrowed from #5 cylinder and 2 years of condensation rusted #5 up tight. I pulled the intake and heads and filled the cylinder with penetrating lubricant. I let it sit for about a week and the results were amazing!!! I am about to button it back up with no machine work needed! Glad I found this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works! I had a Jeep heater blower motor squirrel cage that frozen to the shaft on the motor and it had resisted all my efforts of a week to free it but one application of WD-40 Rust Release Penetrant Spray and an overnight soak period allowed it to be easily removed. Good stuff!
