Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wahl Stable Pro clippers did the job I bought the Wahl Stable Pro clippers a month ago and am so pleased with the results. I have a 15.2 hand horse and was able to totally clipped her with ease. The clippers are quiet and quick and no problem in over heating. I was able to do her whole body and all the trim clip needed. I would highly recommend these clippers. Not only do they do the job but the price is very reasonable. From a satisfied customer in N.C.

are these clippers for body clipping? How long do blades last?

Asked by: clairesey
This unit is lightweight, quiet and tough enough for full body clipping. There are a lot of variables to take into consideration when determining blade life. How thick is the fur/hair you are clipping? Is the fur/hair clean or dirty? Hair that is thick and dirty will dull your blades much more quickly so it is important that you are properly bathing and brushing your animal before clipping. Keeping your blades clean and well-oiled is essential for blade longevity. The blade set should be oiled frequently (daily) in order to maintain its good cutting performance and thus ensuring a long service life. Only use Wahl Clipper Blade Oil. Wahl Clipper blade oil has been specifically formulated for Wahl Clipper blades. Using any other lubricant may cause damage to your blades and clipper and would void your clipper’s warranty. Before oiling, take care to remove any excess hair and grime in and around the blade. This can be done with the cleaning brush included in your kit, a soft cloth, or a blow dryer. To oil Competition Blades, we recommend the “5 Point Method”. Place 3 drops of oil along the top of the blade teeth at the left corner, right corner, and center of the blade. Turn the clipper to its side and place a drop of oil at the heel of the top blade. Repeat on the other side. Let the clipper run for 30 seconds to allow the oil to work its way into the blade set. Wipe away any excess oil. Only wipe the clipper with a soft cloth, which may be dampened slightly. Do not use solvents or abrasives!
