Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vogelzang wood stove A rating I bought this stove a month ago and was impressed by how well it heats the house. The only issue I have with it is the handle get very hot to open and the spring handles are too small. Over like product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Good I bought this three years ago and the insides are all burned up and the unit fills the house with smoke. Its only good for a fire once in a while. Never expect to heat your room with it. Blower fans lasted one month. One year warranty says it all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This insert is every bit as good as buckstove My uncles both have owned vogelzang products and inserts. They are very well made and last for years I am building a large lodge type cabin and will be heating with this and propane furnace if necessary my uncles both have large barns and have had their large stoves to heat them vogelzang is what they had when I was a little girl

I have a two sided fire place I was thinking to remove and install this insert . The surroundings are not noncombustible. I was wondering what would be needed to compete this?

Asked by: Jeremi
you will likely have to close one side or have to look at the back of the stove. Other than that, we recommend you install 6 inch flue liner to the top of the chimney. The stove comes with the Surround for one side.
