Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stove Of the three pellet stoves we have purchased this is the best one. It's easy to clean seems to heat our house so much better. I would tell people to purchase this stove

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not great I purchased this a few weeks ago. Set up was easy. BTU output is outstanding. The Biggest reason I gave it three stars is because the auger jams frequently. It’s not terribly difficult to free it up and clean it out but it’s time consuming when it’s frigid out and this is your only heat source. The auger once cleaned and freed up will often stop feeding during start up requiring resetting by turning off and on the main power button requiring sitting with it for some time to make sure it’s going to continue to work. The other reason for the three stars is the manual. It’s not easy to read or follow and it provides ways to free the auger that don’t apply to this machine. I like the heat but the drawbacks are substantial. I think for the price it should be a far better product. I use premium hardwood pellets so I don’t believe that’s the problem. I probably wouldn’t purchase this again or recommend it for someone who isn’t a mechanically inclines trouble shooter. The doors pop open As well once it heats up. Stronger magnets maybe? But that’s not my greatest concern.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is a tank Easy install...easy to great. Ran it for three days straight the first time out of the box and this unit threw great heat. Only went through 5 bags in three days on full blast. Love this unit so far.

Will the stove safely run on a 3500 watt UL approved,110 V gas generator with a built in surge protector, in case of power outage? Are line conditioners required?

Asked by: Doc P
The generator must be 1,000 Watt rated, deep cycle marine battery with a pure sine wave inverter.

I see you said if using a masonary chimney you will need a pellet vent pipe. Is that if it is over 15ft or is that no matter how tall the chimney. I will be running the pipe through my wall into the chimney

Asked by: Hunter0721
If you plan to run your pellet pipe into an existing chimney, you will need to run the pellet pipe all the way to the top of the chimney for proper operation. The reason you need to do this is because your pellet stove is designed and programmed for pellet pipe which is 3" or 4" in diameter. most masonry chimneys are 6" or greater. This will put additional back pressure on the exhaust blower decreasing the amount of air it will move. This reduced air will cause errors in the stove vacuum switches and it will burn poorly. If over 15 feet, please use 4" pipe to reduce air restrictions.

I have a old coal that I want to replace with this pellet stove, can I use the existingjf chimney

Asked by: Mjlf
You must use 3 to 4 inch pellet pipe. You cannot use just the chimney for the exhaust.
