Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tuf-Tug Excellent block & tackle for the price. I use it in general construction and in a boat shed. The rope-lock is an excellent feature. No need to buy any new rope for this tool, by the way. It comes with a good-quality, strong nylon line. I have no complaints with this product or the shipment arrangements from Tractor Supply. All were first-class.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed, easy to use. This product worked great! I attached it to the ceiling beam in my garage and I can easily raise the front end of my zero turn lawn mower and clean out all the packed in grass clippings on my mower deck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the price and more I bought this to lift a 168 pound fifth wheel hitch base that I got tired of lifting in and out of my truck. It works well! I was worried it would not have a controlled descent when lowering it, but it does, nice and controlled. I used a stainless 5 inch eye bolt into a 2x10 joist in my garage ceiling and nylon 1/2" rope to attach to and no issues.

can it be re rigged with a 100' rope , thus doubling its lifting range ?

Asked by: donnie r
Rope in rope hoist is a 3/8” diameter Poly Blend Double Braid. The manufacturer does not warranty any alteration to the product, but yes, in theory, this can be done.

I'm guessing the mechanical setup provided with this setup is 4, is that correct?

Asked by: Cray1801
The manufacturer was unsure of the question and replied with "the minimum head room is 18in".

Are the load hooks interchangeable with a different size hook? I'm looking to set something to lift 100lbs however would need a larger hook on top and smaller on the bottom. Space limitations so I'm trying to avoid using slings/shackles.

Asked by: Bill907
We do not offer different hooks and cannot verify load rating on any other hooks.
