Traveller 12V ATV Electric Winch, 3,500 lb. Capacity is rated 2.4 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor winch Don't buy this winch.. It isn't remote control and you can't see when the cable goes off the spool and winds around the motor shaft. About 1 hour fix. OVER AND OVER AGAIN...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Frozen, didn't even get two years out of it! I installed this on a Honda SxS for a snow plow. Well snowed today. Went to release the cable and the winch is frozen. Tried to release pressure with the freewheel on the side. IT SNAPPED OFF IN MY HAND!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for! I bought the 3500 lb. winch in November 2015. Price was very low and the quality is about the same. Universal mounting plate is useless if mounting on a 2000-2007 Honda Rancher. You are much better off buying a mounting plate made specifically for your model from someone like KFI but you will probably have to replace the fairlead too because bolt holes won't fit. The free wheeling knob is very difficult to pull out. Mounting instructions are next to worthless. The cable doesn't wind neat and tight on the spool but I should be okay because I only plan to use it for lifting the snow plow on my ATV. I ordered the Traveller wireless remote switch and then come to find out it is only for the Traveller 8k and 10k lb. winches.

I purchased this winch to mount on a swivel boom.  The boom is located at the rear of a gooseneck trailer.  The trailer is 24 feet long.  I want to run wire from the front of my trailer to the rear and connect to the winch.  What gauge wire should I use?

Asked by: Chuckcook
Please use 3AWG wire, please note that the winch capacity can't reach 3500lbs due to voltage drop of 24ft. long wire.

Can you get a wireless remote for the 3500 winch?

Asked by: shorty64
Right now the 3,500lb winch doesn’t come with the solenoid relay and TSC doesn’t sell it as an accessory yet. So the 3,500lb winch is not compatible with wireless remote control.

What size wire and fuse do I need from truck battery to quick disconnect in rear bed of truck? Assume 800 amp x 1.4 hp =1120watts / 12= 93 amp so a 2 AWG wire with 80 amp breaker?

Asked by: Codah
The 80amp breaker is correct but the wire gauge depends on the length needed. If the connection is within 5 meters, a 6AWG wire is fine.

Where does the switch mount on a traveller 3500 winch

Asked by: Chaz 22
The switch connects to the battery. The Red wire attached to the Positive Terminal and the Green (or Black) wire attached to the Negative Terminal.
