Nice boot but it has its problemsI am on my second pair of these boots and the same thing has happened on both pair that I have. The stitching on top of the foot starts separating. I have been wearing Tony Lama boots for many years. I am very disappointed in this boot. I have a pair of old Tony Lama's that I haven't been able to find they are a lot heavier leather, black, medium round toe, 16" upper, still in good shape, I have trained horses and spent many hours walking and riding in these boots, had them resoled twice. They are finally getting to broken down to wear, I would guess they are at least 10 years old, wish i could find another pair like them

Bad heelI had two pair of the 3R boots with the hollow heel and neither pair lasted longer than four months. I rely on my boots for working every day on the ranch never had boots come apart at the heel like this. I have always wore Tony Lama boots but this boots wore a big let down. Lucky I found a pair with a solid heel made by y'all so please do away with the hollow heel.

Constructed PoorlyI agree with all of the reviews I have read on this boot. It is Extremely comfortable and EXTREMELY poorly constructed. The "Unit Heel" has separated from the boot on two consecutive pairs after less than a month of wear on each pair. They were so comfortable I decided to give them a second shot after the first pair had the heel separate. Well, the second pair were just as comfortable as the first, and just as poorly constructed.
I am not hard on boots, these are just extremely poorly made where the heel attaches to the boot. In the last two pairs that separated, NONE of the nails were driven into the actual rubber of the Unit-Heel, but instead were all driven through the heel filler into in the hollow air pockets inside the "Unit Heel". The only thing actually holding the Unit Heel to the upper were the adhesives used. Which of course lead to the heel becoming separated in both cases
Come on Tony Lama! You've got a great looking and comfortable wearing boot here. How difficult can it be to attach the heel securely? Very disappointed.
