Can it be installed behind the fender well? Looks like if it were put on the right side of the truck it would work.

Yes, if your truck bed allows for size, we have seen it installed on the right side of a truck, behind the fender well.

What kind of pump would work with this

Per the vendor, "We do not offer any pumps for that tank. It does come with a shaker siphon to get the fuel out of the tank but it does not directly plumb into the stock tank if that is what is being asked."
