Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a charm After trying several unsatisfactory ‘home grown’ solutions, I purchased this, and am thrilled with it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wall hay feeder We bought this a couple weeks ago, very nice, or horse loves it! Made very well also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Product Sturdy and well built. I own 10 of these racks. 7 have been in horse stalls for over 8 years and are still in new condition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality Bought two of these. One is in my Horses stall, one on the outside of the barn. I like that it keeps the hay off the ground. Means less waste and easier clean up of the stall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I love these racks! My goats waste less and are happier eating from them

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Broken pieces The Tarter hay feeders I ordered came unpackaged by UPS. When we started to take them down to the barn, we noticed that two out of the three we ordered had rust around one of the bars where it joins and that it was broken. Rather than deal with sending them back, we took them to a friend to weld the bars back together and we will use them. They weren't expensive, so if they kat a few years, that's fine, but at this point, I'm not sure if the problem is with the product from Tarter, or with Tractor Supply in how it was stored.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hay Feeder It’s big enough to hold 4 flakes of hay , the bar space is perfect for older horses to enjoy easy access but just enough not to make it too easy as well . The only thing is I wish it came with the proper items to hang it up on the wall

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT GOAT HAY RACK I purchased this for 2 goats. Works out great. They waste very little hay and are quite happy eating from it. So glad that I purchased it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Early Reaction The invitation to comment comes as I have hung three feeders, too soon to know how well thet work with livestock. Looks hopeful. The feeder needs two more holes for attachment of the top bar, one at each end just inside the wire. My three were thoroughly wedged together for shipment and difficult to separate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job The device is doing what I wanted it to do - keeping the feed up out of the dirt and the small pieces fall into their buckets. Down side is the larger horse is bending the thing so I had to drill and attach extra bolts to keep the ends flush to the wall

What type screws doe the galvanized flat wall hay feeder take?

Asked by: Sharon1
Per Tarter: "There are multiple screws that could be used as long as the heads are large enough not to slide through the holes. I would recommend galvanized screws at least 2” long."
