Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Convienent Best way to have mealworms on hand for bluebirds, especially when snow on the ground and the bb are in need! For me, better than raising mealworms in a container. If robins are in the area in the early spring they too will gobble these mealworms up! As far as the lid being too tight, I only had that problem once. All the other lids were very easy to remove once both tabs were removed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I had 6 eggs in the bb box and all hatched. I put some dried mealworms in a container and pour boiling water over them. Wait a while then drain off the water and the mom and dad bb devour them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dried Mealworms & opening lid Bluebirds are eating these worms up, several bluebirds at platform feeder, with snow on the ground a great supplement. Nice tight lid, won't spill when dropped. I used the claw end of a hammer after removing the 2 tabs and pulled up on the lid. Hard to close also.
