Purchased a little more than 6 weeks. Stolen after it caught a reported trespasser.
A great disadvantage is that it is not camouflaged and stands out for a taker. A second disadvantage is that the flash range is more like 25 feet than 90 feet. Pictures transmitted are good. Pictures saved to SD card are super.

Love this cameraI have had some SpyPoint cameras in the past that I was not impressed with, but the new EVO has made a SpyPoint fan out of me. Easy to set up, activate, and the ability to acquire a signal in marginal areas is impressive. I have it set in an area that my iPhone struggles for signal and the SpyPoint never skips a beat. Love that it comes with a SIM card and I truly enjoy the app features.

For the Money It's GreatI got the Link Evo on sale from SAIL for $279. Activation was easy. I set it up at home for the night to see how the cam actually worked before taking it out to the field. Our cat is up roaming around all night. Night shots were clear. Out in the field I managed to get a few night time pics of deer. The camera worked flawlessly. Be aware that when the cam notifies you via text message you have to log into your account via desk top computer or smartphone app. After logging into your account, the pics are low resolution, under 100kb per pic. For full resolution pics you need to physically download the pics to your smartphone, tablet or PC. The trade off is you don't have to travel hours to a hunt camp to view trail cam pics. I'll take the low res images vs. driving hours. All settings are controlled by the smartphone app. No need to travel to adjust the settings on the camera. I should note that this cam is NOT an 'on demand' trail cam. Meaning you cannot log in and have the cam take a pic at your command. The cam strictly operates on movement. Upon sensing movement it will store the pic until the next sync sequence, which is usually every two hours OR every time movement is detected. Again, these sync settings are adjustable. If you want the cam to send a pic for each motion detection, an external battery is recommended.
