Mixing And Feeding Directions:
Add the dry Calf Colostrum Replacer powder to clean, warm water at 110-120°F and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved. Allow the solution to cool to 90-100°F before feeding. As a calf colostrum replacer mix 350 grams (entire pouch) with 1-1/2 quarts warm water and feed the entire volume of solution as soon as possible after birth (within 2 hours if possible). As a colostrum supplement mix 175 grams (half a pouch) with 1 quart warm water and feed the entire volume of solution as soon as possible after birth (within 2 hours if possible). If you are mixing Calf Colostrum Replacer with maternal colostrum, mix the dry powder with water first, then blend the solution into warm colostrum. Feed the entire volume of solution as soon after birth as possible (within 2 hours if possible). Begin feeding calf milk replacer at the next feeding 6-12 hours later. Every calf is an individual. The directions provided are for a calf that is about 75 - 100 pounds at birth. Adjust the amounts fed according to the calf's body weight, the environmental conditions, and the level of calf disease on your farm.
