You then have the ability to reseed as early as two days after application. This OMRI certified formula utilizes potassium salts of fatty acids which kills weeds and unwanted grasses in and around walks, fences, patios, driveways, flowerbeds, vegetable gardens, trees and shrubs. Weeds can crowd out flowers and starve them of vital nutrients. Using this concentrate will allow your plants room to breathe and allow them receive nutrients from the soil.

Will this product also kill hardwood seedlings? If so, it's not for me! I need something to eliminate weed and grass competition around American Chestnut seedlings.
