PROBLEMS ARE BACK: BUGS AND MILLETBought last Saturday, 9/26/2015 and opened the 15 lb. bag. First thing I saw were bugs. My wife went BERSERK !!! Filled feeder and noticed "Millet" (little round seeds) which I could not find listed on the bag as to content. I bought this specifically for woodpeckers, nuthatches, etc, NOT doves.. In reading past reviews, this was a problem that was supposedly resolved. NOT SO !! The bag should read, fruit, nut and millet.
As for the bugs, TSC was out of this product earlier in the year, so I'm thinking this is NOT due to old inventory from TSC, but, probably due to old inventory from the producer.
Someone from TSC needs to have a serious talk with their supplier if they want to retain my business !! "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me " !! This product is NOT inexpensive.
I would appreciate a response to this posting.

Nasty MessI have always bought the Tree Nutty blend from Wild Birds Unlimited but saw this at TS and since it was cheaper, I thought I would try it. When I opened it, I was immediately disappointed. The sunflower hearts were basically pulverized into tiny pieces and dust. If I put food out in the evening, the overnight dew turns it to mush. The WBU seed is definitely more expensive but wayyyy cleaner. I am not sure if the TS seed sat on the shelf too long or if it was just handled too roughly. Either way, I won't buy it again.

THE MIX HAS BEEN CHANGEDJust purchased two 15 lb. bags of this product & ratio of millet to the fruit & nut blend has definitely increased. Am greatly disappointed as I thought the problem had been resolved. Our birds don't favor millet & the original percentage was small & not a problem, but now there's a lot of Millet. We will not purchase this product again, instead we will go back to a previous brand from another retailer.
