Roundup Weed & Grass Killer Concentrate Plus, 1/2 gal. is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 127.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed - Only 25% of grass/weeds were killed Following directions, we applied roundup, and are very disappointed. After 2-3 weeks, only 25% of the grass and weeds sprayed have been killed. Feels like a waste of time as they are growing bigger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It has been, in use, on this property for years. I use this product, primarily, in a sprayer. It is the "go to" irradicant when I have weeds that have no name. I only use Scott's for my lawn weeds;clover and sedge grass. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It is not killing morning glory in my grass. I have several patches of morning glory in my lawn. Weed and feed didn't do anything to it. I tried your concentrate on it and it killed the grass, but not the morning glory. What can I do to remedy this? I also included a picture of another plant that didn't get killed. I don't seem to be able to connect my phone to get the pictures.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Directions and claim of ten gallons don't seem to match up The directions state to use 6 fluid ounces to make one gallon yet the claim is that the 32 oz bottle will make up to 10 gallons. This math does not seem to add up. I have just sprayed some of my weeded areas and am still waiting to see the results. I was disappointed that I will not be getting more out of the concentrated bottle. What do you recommend? Using 3 ounces for a gallon or the 6 stated on the directions?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roundup Concentrate Plus is my best friend! Roundup Concentrate Plus never disappoints! We've inherited and created huge flower and shrub beds on our property. They surround the house, line the walks, and beautify our deep-shade back yard. AND, our driveways are gravel. Weeds, weeds, and more weeds! I get new weeds every day, so Roundup concentrate is my best friend. No. it's my CHAMPION. Flowergirl9

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product provides great directions for easy mixing and use I have been purchasing Round Up for years. Lately it seems I have been having to apply more applications to get my desired results. Not sure what has changed or if the vegiation I am trying to rid my landscaping areas are getting resisitant to the product. For the price you spend on this product, it is starting to dissapoint and losing the value. Not going anywhere as a customer but I must admit I am starting to rethink my strategy. Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product ruined my new sprayer So when I poured the contents into the sprayer, it was gloppy and looked like it had a stringy substance. I thought maybe it would dissolve once I added the water. The first 3 or 4 batches were okay. I cleaned out the sprayer and 2 weeks later I pulled it out to finish/reapply. The first batch was okay but the second batch was gloppy again and this time clogged the sprayer. I don't know what's in the mixture to make it gloppy and stringy. First batch did kill the weeds! Rated 5 out of 5 by from RoundUp Does the Job We live in Florida and have red stone mulch beds. Every two weeks we spray with RoundUp (8 oz per gallon dilution) and in a few days the weeds are shriveled and pretty much gone. Definitely beats getting on your hands and knees on rock to pull weeds! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product worked KILLED MY DANDEIONS ON MY LOT THAT IS ALL GRAVEL. I ALSO HAD SOME NATIVE GRASSES THAT IT KILLED. HOWEVER, THE GRASS BLADES AND SEED HEADS WERE SO DELICATED IT WAS HARD TO GET THE SPRAY TO MAKE CONTACT. SO WHERE NO CONTACT WAS MADE THE GRASS DID NOT DIE. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't seem to work I used this product in plant beds to kill weeds. No sign of anything happening. I mixed it at the 6/ 1 product to water ratio. It did rain last night but the product was applied for at least 5 hrs. Guess I should try another application. Suggestions? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product does the job very well. Have been using Roundup for years. It does a good job killing weeds and preparing an area for planting new grass or flowers. I am not afraid of buying a large size because it lasts til the next season [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works well at full strength but smelly To be effective the product must be used at its full strength. The real complaint is the smell. If you apply it on nice days in the spring to get rid of weeds early, you will need to keep the windows closed for a day or two to keep the smell out of the house. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not 10 Gallons A big red label on the front of the 32oz. bottle and the instructions say "makes up to 10 gallons". Instructions for mixing, again on the front of the bottle and in the pull open instructions say to add 6 fl oz to one gallon of water. 10 gallons is possible only if you find the one line in all the instructions about to treating "easy to kill weeds such as seedlings". Then you can use 3 fl oz per gallon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from weeds look great I've used this twice a week apart now and the weeds have never looked better. I've used it exactly as directed and I see virtually no change in the weeds over the last three weeks. I'll never waste my money on this stuff again! Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lable is miss leading. The 32 oz. container states " makes up to 10 gallons". The directions state mix 6 oz. per gallon of water. This only gives 5 1/3 gallons when mixed as directed. When mixed as directed how can I get 10 gallons? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Kills few plants I sprayed this over a variety of weeds and over an old flower bed. Catnip was the only plant that appeared threatened after 3 days. I actually mixed the concentrate a little stronger than the directions because I have had poor results in the past, and it did not rain for 6 hours. Rated 1 out of 5 by from What ratio do you use? I actually CAME to this web sight to TRY to find out HOW to mix this stuff, since the 1st thing the removable label of instructions will do in your garage is GET LOST. Which mine did. OK, fair enough. I DID buy this bottle LAST summer. So I try reading the side of the bottle, I need a magnifying glass: the print is THAT small. Oh, there is all kinds of info about disposal, and gov't regulations, but I can't find ANY info about HOW to mix this. Now, you COULD go with the "Makes 10 gallons and do the math (it's 1 quart), but I never was that good at fractions. So, here I am, trying to find out how to mix this, and guess what? There's nothing here to tell you how. Figures. Just bad customer service, bad packaging, bad bottle (mine is leaking all over the shelf). Avoid this stuff. It works great for the 1st time you use it. Then after the instructions come off (they're attached with rubber cement and WILL come off, and SOON), you'll be on your own. In the end, I guess I'll just mix 1 cup full (the cup on the top of the bottle) with one spray container full of water (a little more then 1 gallon). Thats got to work, right? Who knows. You won't find the ratio on THIS web sight. Not easily, anyways.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work at all I mixed just as the instructions said. I double checked that I had a gal of water to the recommend 6oz of concentrate. The temperature was well above 60f. The weeds I sprayed 24 hours ago have not even began to whither at all. In fact they look to be thriving. I sprayed on a number of different types weeds and not a single one looks to be dying. The pre-mix I found to work fine. This concentrate, not at all. Not even sure I want to go back to the round-up brand. Very disappointed. But don't take my word for it. Try it yourself. But I do not recommend this product. Take it or leave it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Consistent results everytime A garden essential. Wouldn't be able to have the yard I do without this product. It gives consistent results time after time. Great for jobs both large and small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great Nothing that I have used works as effectively as Roundup. Its also not soil active, so I don't accidentally kill something that I want to keep. I can use an automatic mixing hose sprayer or a canister, if I choose. A hose sprayer covers large areas quickly, and a canister is great for spot control. Follow the directions, and it will work for you.
