Remington RM4218 Rebel Chainsaw is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for anyone to use! I needed a light weight saw that would cut 12-14 inch hard oak logs... This is a great choice for my 6 cord pile of firewood that im working on... It starts so easy with a flip switch for on/off and a pull out choke. It is very balanced with a nice easy grip handle.... I like everything about this saw....I have used it also to limb out and cut down apple and plum trees. Im a 62 year young woman and this is light enough I can use this as long as I want.... My other saws are toooo heavy.... Love it....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great firearms, sorry chainsaw, spend more $ One star for fairly easy starting and idles well. The bar's groove was uneven causing angled cuts, almost impossible to undercut. Since I bought online I'd have to send it back, not worth the hassle since I need it now to clear 12 trees for a construction project.. Attempted, unsuccessfully, to even the top of bar with a grinder. Bought a new Oregon bar and chain which works fine on small trees. Engine is underpowered for cutting anything 14" or bigger. This would probably be fine for cutting occasional small stuff, but that's what my 14" saw is for. I wish I'd have spent more in hindsight. You get what you pay for, especially with power tools. P.S. I know the two Remington companies are not related.
