Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great firearms, sorry chainsaw, spend more $ One star for fairly easy starting and idles well. The bar's groove was uneven causing angled cuts, almost impossible to undercut. Since I bought online I'd have to send it back, not worth the hassle since I need it now to clear 12 trees for a construction project.. Attempted, unsuccessfully, to even the top of bar with a grinder. Bought a new Oregon bar and chain which works fine on small trees. Engine is underpowered for cutting anything 14" or bigger. This would probably be fine for cutting occasional small stuff, but that's what my 14" saw is for. I wish I'd have spent more in hindsight. You get what you pay for, especially with power tools. P.S. I know the two Remington companies are not related.
