Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works well the heater functions as expected. Take the guards off because they're a pain in the neck and they'll get caught on everything.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked great...4 times Used the heater just a few times. Always put up clean after use. Thermocoupling is shot after literally 4 uses. Won't get this brand again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Out of the box issue New out of the box assembly issue. The heater support can’t be installed on the Venturi tube due to conflict with the rear guard assembly or the plastic tip switch. The Venturi tube shown in the instructions appears much longer which would allow proper installation. The actual unit tube is much shorter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great It warms my 16 X 20 insulated shop very quickly. A few minutes on high to get the chill out then on low to keep it warm.
Date published: 2016-12-30
Rated 3 out of 5 by from portable I bought this in case I had to work outside I could put next to me while working on truck but you have to put your hands about 5" away or you wont feel the heat. It doesn't fire up the first time either . it's like pulling rope on lawn mower takes a couple trys to stay lit. It would be good for a 1 car garage. most likely I wont be using this much. If you really want one I would the extra for the double head unit- wish I would of.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love it! It is Great for my one bedroom use. I leave it on low and use it only at night. One 20lb tank last me a week.
Date published: 2016-01-18
Rated 3 out of 5 by from heats well enough, but smells not propane smell, but oily smell even after 10 hours. Maybe my elevation at 3200ft. or just not factory set correctly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Propane Heater I bought mine this winter for my shop. I have not had any problems with it. It lights up easy, burns hot. I hardly ever turn the knob off of low because it gets to hot in my little shop (8x8 metal with no insulation).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought this product 2 years ago and it has had little use. As in the other reviews, the control knob fell completely apart this year when I tried to use it. Poor quality plastic

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm on my second one I bought my first one 2 years ago. Works great for keeping my milk house pipes from freezing. I did have a problem with the safety switch (very sensitive) that made it hard to light sometimes. But if you're patient, you could get it to start. It had some tough times around the farm, but kept on ticking until it got run over last fall. A good buy for the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORST PRODUCT YOU CAN BUY I have used these heaters for several seasons, have bought 6 or more in the past 5 I have used these heaters for several seasons, have bought 6 or more in the past 5 years. The quality has steadily declined. They either won't light and stay lit or the Plastic heat regulator knob literally falls apart. I had one that was purchased in Nov. of 2013 the burn quality steadily declined to the point were it would not produce any heat anymore IF it would light at all. Yesterday Jan. 16, 2014 I purchased another one only to have the plastic heat regulator knob fall off 6 hrs. after it was purchased and literally the second time it was lit. I WOULD NOT EVEN RECOMMEND THIS TO SOMEBODY I DIDN'T LIKE. THEY ARE A RIPOFF The worst part is Tractor Supply DOES NOT STAND BEHIND the product. You have to go to the manufacture on your own.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheap, but works... Only one left in town during cold snap...did not even stay lit, until I set the Thrermo-Couple closer as did the other reviewer. If you goof holding the safety start...give up and wait, it won't always start right back up. Plastic adjustment valve is flimsy, so I set it and forget it...use the valve on the tank to turn on/off. If it will last 2 seasons of 20 to 30 hour use,...I suppose I will be happy. Good Luck

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good heater for the price. Got this to heat a small garage and for emergencies. I've only used it twice but it seems to work very well. Throws as much heat as a small kerosene heater. It's very easy to light if you follow the directions. It has low/medium/high settings to adjust the heat. The adjustment knob is plastic and seems a bit flimsy so I'll just have to wait and see how it holds up. So far, so good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very cheaply made This heater is a copy(poor) of the Mr. Heater. I am a licensed propane tech,I bought this item and it wouldn't stay lit. The thermocouple was set(factory) too far from the burner and would not hold the valve open. I moved the thermocouple closer to the burner and that took care of that problem but when I turned the heat control knob it completely fell apart. Appears that the plastic is what I call"shell plastic" Very cheap I would not recommend this make of heater. You will be wasting your money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hot, like it oughta' be Got it for emergency backup in the house, even tho for outdoors apparently, if electricity goes out AGAIN, and it is 6 degrees outside, I'm going to use it.

The enclosed support bracket cannot be installed onto the heater as shown in the included instructions. How should it be installed? The picture on the web site shows the tilt sensor removed from the heater and hanging by its wires...

Asked by: Weldon1
The support bracket is centered around the chrome tube going to the burner, then the two indentations on the support bracket are hooked onto the bottom bar of the cage on the backside of the burner, then the two support rods slide onto the edges of the propane tank. This heater is meant to be used only atop a propane cylinder, removing any of the safety devices or using this heater in anyway other than it's intended application, as shown in the manual is strongly advised against. If you have any further questions please contact our technical support at 1-800-251-0001.

I want to put a heat source outside for my dog at night, will this work to be left on all night on low or medium and keep him warm without causing harm to him or a fire? He refuses to come inside at night and when forced flips until back outside.

Asked by: Phoenix90
This is an ill-advised use of one of our heaters, we do not recommend leaving these heaters running while unsupervised.

How meny Sq feet does this heat and what kind of ventilation do I need

Asked by: Netty1958
Thank you for your inquiry. This heater does not have a specific square footage due to it only being certified for outdoor use. The heater is an outdoor only heater and cannot be used indoors, so it needs full outdoor ventilation.
