Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Little heater Liked it enough to buy a second one. Really heats the living room up nice and cozy just on the first setting.
Date published: 2019-01-20
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pilot light won't stay on. Even after holding the the control knob down for over a minute, the pilot light goes off as soon as the knob is released to be able to turn the heater on. Apparently the regulator disc needs to be parallel to the floor, but is formed to be perpindicular to the floor. Hate things that have to be fiddled with rather than working right from the get-go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple works Used several times throws great heat. Worth the price .only gave 4 stars because hard to start. Had to use matches most of time.

I bought this heater 3 weeks ago and now the pilot won't stay lit. Is there a way I can fix this problem?

Can I leave the unit on overnight in a workshop

Asked by: Al92
It is not recommended. Propane gives off hazardous pollutants and should be used in a well ventilated area and always under supervision.

This is NOT for home use,, should be labeled on every corner, OUTDOOR ONLY! Cylinders are not only illegal to use indoors but a bad Idea. I have 25 years in the business, this is not probably US approved, and I doubt UL listed. NOT FOR LIVING AREAS

Asked by: Texanconnection
This model is not UL tested, but does comply with ANS Z83.7 and CSA 2.14 safety standards to be used as a construction (not residential) heater. It is a portable heating solution that is perfect for indoor construction use, with proper ventilation.

Is it safe to sit on a carpeted floor, and not get too hot right in front? Plan on getting one to warm up living room, dining room, area and only run it for a few hours when it really gets cold out under 32 all day. Would use for supplemental heat.

Asked by: Joe Mensch
No, it is not recommended for carpets, even on construction sites. This unit is for “indoor construction use, with proper ventilation” only and not for living quarters, since it runs on a 20 lbs. LP tank.
