Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap and poor quality! We bought 8 rolls of the “ Red Brand “ no climb wire to stretch on our new Pipe fence. Don’t buy this wire, it is of cheap and poor quality. We returned all of the rolls ( 8 ) and bought the OKLAHOMA NO CLIMB WIRE “ ! It was 5ft. And 250ft. Rolls, THE OKLAHOMA BRAND IS OF THE FINEST QUALITY, it stretches like a dream ! Tight and no sagging, the wire is great quality !!! I highly recommend “ OKLAHOMA NO CLIMB FOR ALL YOUR FARM FENCING “!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome fence This fence is just awesome when it is tightened up with a come-along. Looks graet once up, will be buying more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don’t skimp, get the good stuff! When it comes to fencing, you get what you pay for. Don’t even bother with welded wire. This stuff is the only way to go. Even at a higher price it’s worth it. Personally I’d pay more and get no climb over field fencing every time.

Is this like chicken wire? I want to keep crawling critters out

Asked by: Padappur
Chicken wire generally has much smaller spacing/gaps between the wire. This fencing has 2"x 4" gaps and will allow crawling critters to get through.

I’ll be using railroad ties for post. For the non-climb horse fence, what can I use to secure the fence to the ties? Also what is a “non-climb horse fence” different from the regular fence?

Asked by: Shal56
We have never had a customer use railroad ties for posts before, and do not have a recommendation at this time. However, with a standard wood post, we would recommend 2 1/2" double barbed staples. As for the difference between a non-climb fencing and a regular fencing, the spacing on the non-climb fence will keep the horse from putting its hoof through the spacing and getting stuck.
