Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more rodents If you see it disappear daily don't be discouraged. Be encouraged. They will eat and eat and invite their friends. Takes about a week for them to die. Maybe less as many more are around than you think and likely the first few visitors died after a couple of days. Keep putting it out and soon no more takers. Leave a little out for future visitors and add more as you see it disappear. Works on squirrels too I hear. Just keep out of reach of dogs and birds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Remik rat bait Every so often I have mice or rats invade my barn or out buildings, I usually keep the poison set out year round. But recently ran out couldn't find any at time, So ordered online through TSC. Meanwhile bought another brand was a waste it takes far too long for them to work, could have saved money by just waiting for my order to arrive. ( As long as I can get Ramik I won't run out again) If you haven't tried it you should YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rat’s love it. Bought it a few weeks ago and put on shelf in crawl space. A few days ago I went to use it and corner of bag was chewed through and most of pellets were gone. I have not seen or smelled any dead rats. I spread the remaining pellets out and they were gone the next day. How do you explain?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gone In 48 hours I didn’t realize how many mice we had in our home, we have them in our garage but hadn’t ever seen evidence of them until recently. Now I am seeing them early in the morning and I’ve seen a lot of evidence, even storing seeds all over the house. In the furniture, under the cushions, droppings across the couch that we use daily and closets of chewed items and furniture cushions chewed as well. We have parrots in the house and three very large dogs and was tired of mice. The other very popular name brand in the little plastic boxes, we have that all over the place. Every single box has almost all the bait gone, but they are eating the plastic now. I bought this and put it in glass mason jars, no top in 3 closets in the main floor and a cupboard as well that has plumbing coming through. This was gone by the time I check approx. 48 hours later. I also placed this in our finished crawl space and garage and it’s all gone there as well. How can I tell when it’s time to stop what I am doing and call in a professional. I don’t want this to become a problem in our area. It’s already a problem this year from flooding, all the farms around here, and the fields are full of field mice. If there is something stronger that works faster without harm to my dogs if they were to find it under our house where they will never be. Please Share!!!!!! Thanks. Btw our Rouens had caught a mouse and they were throwing it around with the Geese, Turkeys and Chickens. I’ve never seen that before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fighting River Rats I will never be without Ramik again to control the river rats in my area. I got a flock of chickens about 18 mos ago, in the last two months I noticed my birds acting like they are starved and their feed bucket was emptying way too fast! My feed bill was climbing but I wasn't getting any more eggs, my girls weren't happy chickens. One night I came in kind of late and went to check on my flock and saw a rat come out of the feed bucket and shimmy up the coop and across the roof to disappear! I got all of the Ramik I had on hand and put it out near the trash bin outside. The next morning it was gone. When I went to TSC and got more, I put out six different piles in my back yard with four of those surrounding my chickens. Each day I could see the piles getting smaller! Within 3days, it was all gone and I don't have disappearing feed now. I live alone so inside my house has lots of poison piles in prominent hiding places for rats bc I had been hearing those fat butt river rats tromping through my house at odd hours. I havent seen any more evidence or heard them inside and the poison remains in place. I have put more outside and 90% remains as well! I used the entire 4# bag when I put it out in war against theiving rats eating all my feed! My chickens lay almost a dozen eggs per day now compared to four eggs previously. Ramik will always be my top choice! IF I am unfortunate and find a dead rat, he is always just a pile of bones and fur. I can deal with that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They love it I’ve been using it a while. Have only found one dead rat, but I read that they usually die in their tunnels out of sight. I like this stuff because it can be reversed/treated if my dog does get it. I use the large TomCat bait box without any issues though. The rats seem to like it, it is being eaten up. I never had much luck with Tomcat brand bait squares. I have not had any luck with mice eating this stuff, they seemed to prefer grain, but I am able to trap them. I have not ever trapped a rat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works! Set the bait out in 2 places and the rats gobbled it up immediately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This really works!!! The mice love this stuff and I'm finding dead mice! A neighbor recommended this product. We were infested with mice. They were destroying our house. Nothing we bought worked...until now. This is a life saver! I couldn't be happier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works-better than my CAT Readers; I have an old house that the river rats think is their 'ski lodge'. I have set out this Ramik for their 'appries ski' time, and so far, my nose tells me it works. Just when I think I am down to the last rat, another appears. But it is a far cry from the days when the rats ran thru the open space in the ceiling and it sounded like the Kentucky Derby over your head!. I pulled down one ceiling to remodel the room and found too many rat corpses, thus I know it works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very effective bait We've tried so many methods to rid our home of rats. I keep forgetting we have a TSC here so I tried them again looking for a rat pellet instead of the cakes. Put the product out in 3 places so far out of reach of our 2 dogs. This morning I was greeted with proof it's working...already feeling like we're going to win this war. Thanks Ramik Green

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RATS! I bought this for controlling rats. We live in the country and get rats every so often from the barns around us. I love the ease of use with this product. Just dump some in a pouch and toss where ever these pests live. They love carrying the pouches off and the smell of the product is to tempting for them to resist.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poison or nutrition I have one rat that Ive been at battle with for a month, it has eaten literally 2lbs of this and is still terrorizing my house
    Date published: 2017-06-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works In January 2016 I noted a number of rats in the backyard. Researched rodenticides and came up with Ramik. Its active ingredient is an anticoagulant and kills over time (rarely less than two weeks). As it does take time, rodents don't become bait wary and will keep eating it. Also, unlike other rodenticides, unwanted contamination can be treated with vitamin K. Caution: bait boxes should be used to keep rodenticides away from friendly creatures. 2017, noted a rat in the backyard. Time to reapply Ramik.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best ! I bought a house that had been sitting for a while. The rats had taken over I had tried many different things nothing worked, until I found Ramkin I took this stuff threw it out by the hand fulls rats gone 18 plus babies. So I don't know how you all are using this stuff but you don't throw them one at a time like dog treats. Put your gloves on and get a hand full this stuff it work's. A year later I have 2 I'm going to get another bag today. Send them back to where they came from. But really this is the best rat killer I have ever used.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from doesn't work I've been feeding this to 1 rat IN MY HOUSE and the thing keeps on living and eating them
    Date published: 2017-03-31
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mice love this stuff! I only rated good instead of excellent until I have 100% proven results. I can tell you that so far I'm happy. I used to use Decon in the tray and every once in a while I had to replace the tray. This stuff, I baited 3 weeks ago at camp and they literally ate every last crum in EVERY tray in those 3 weeks. The proof will be if we find any remnants anywhere this weekend. I'll be heading out for a 4# bag this week! I started with the small packs, it's time to wage war on those vermin!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safer if you have pets around This product is safer than other rodenticides because you can treat your animals with Vitamin K if they eat some of it. I prefer the solid bars that will stay put better in bait stations if the stations get knocked around
    Date published: 2016-09-23
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good rat food I bought this two weeks ago, been feeding it to a rat in my garage, he eats about 8 of the nuggets per day. Its been two weeks today and the rat is still going strong. I either have the worlds toughest rat or this stuff does not kill rats.

Is there a secondary poisoning for this product. I would bait my crawlspace which my dogs can't get to, but was curious if there was a secondary poisoning with this product?

    Asked by: jphelps747
There is a low risk of secondary poisoning when using any First Generation Rodenticide- Ramik falls under this class since its active ingredient is Diphacinone. You would be reducing the potential for this by using the product in a crawl space (using a solid wall or floor space to separate the bait from the non-target animal). In addition to this, please dispose of all deceased rodents so that the dog cannot consume them. Always keep the original packaging from the bait, in the event there was an exposure your veterinarian will be able to gather necessary information from the packaging.

According to the manufacturer, the main goal is to use Ramik in the area that the rodents have been seen or are believed to be located. Please see the following video clip for additional information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbLcJH55GWk&t=38s

    Asked by: kpony
Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days or until there no longer are signs of new feeding by rats. Death may occur as early as 4-5 days after a lethal dose is consumed.
