Item Information

At 48 in. tall and 164 ft. long, this Powerfields Electric Commercial Grazier Netting effectively protects and contains poultry, dogs, pigs, sheep and goats. Graduated horizontal spacing is created with 14 strands of UV-stabilized polyethylene and 304 stainless steel wire with 3 in. at the bottom to 8 in. at the top. There are 13 double-spiked, 1/2 in. diameter fiberglass step-in posts integrated into the netting for quick and easy installation. Semi-rigid vertical stays with 3-1/2 in. line spacing provide stability and help prevent drooping between posts. Nets may be easily joined using the metal clips at each end and increasing the energizer size accordingly. A 0.25 J minimum low-impedance energizer is required for each net (not included). To prevent electrical shorting during weed growth, the bottom line is non-conductive. Positive-negative setup eliminates the need for a ground rod. Stainless steel conductors will not rust.

  • The net and posts are made in the USA with a 5 year warranty
  • Orange/green

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, minimal instruction provided. Item works well. There were no instructions in the box, but I was able to figure out how to use it with some research.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from About what I expected for the price Works as expected, had to reinforce some stakes. Sheep will go under the fence if not electrified

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use and does its job. It was not difficult to put up, but having a 2nd person to help would have been nice. My ground was not as flat as I believed so I went back and bought about 25 extra step in posts to make sure low spots didnt sit on the ground. With my solar powered charger, it definitely works for what I needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would buy again This was my first electric fence. I needed to buy additional posts to keep it from sagging. I never charged it. It was easy to move by myself. It lasted a few months until a deer ran into it and was entangled, ultimately tearing it. Still usable after some minor repairs.

Is this fence good for new chickens that are about 4 weeks old?

Asked by: Ahnan730
Yes, this fence could be used for that application.

Should this fence be giving a good jolt? We can grab the fence and it would not keep fox or coyotes out. We purchased American FarmWorks 5-Mile AC Powered Low Impedance Charger, EA5M-AFW. Maybe another energizer? Any help is appreciated!

Asked by: San Chick
See the vendor response below: This Energizer is very small. Recommendation is a minimum of .25 joule per net. Also then need to be touching positive and negative strands at the same time to receive shock, if they are not using as ground rod.

I bought the netting (3) rolls plus a different more powerful electric fencer. I also bought 3 grounding rods.Do I need the rods?

Asked by: Desiree Palmer
Ground rods are not needed with a P-NPX posi-neg net. The positive from the energizers gets connected to the orange line and the ground from the energizer gets connected to the green lines of the net.

Can wooden fence posts or maybe a PVC covered metal T-post be used to give extra support for this fence? How about an insulated cable stretch along the top for support?

Asked by: markstl
Yes, wood or PVC will be safe to use as a supplemental support if you choose, though they will not be needed to use the product.

If I need to move it to get a mower to the other side is it easy to do that? Or is there a similar product that has a gate?

Asked by: MGross
The commercial grazier netting can be moved out of the way simply. Simply turn off the energizer and pull the end post out to get your mower through.

What energizer (preferably solar) do you recommend for this netting? I'm having a hard time choosing one with the correct output.

Asked by: Amber79
Per the manufacturer we recommend the following products. American FarmWorks 10-Mile Solar Low Impedance Fence Charger SKU # 121321299 These energizers will work for the NSPCX2 and NSG12X50. American FarmWorks 30-Mile Solar Powered Low Impedance Charger SKU # 121321099 This will work for the NPX commercial grazier. We recommend .50Joule per 164' of net.
