Item Information

At 40 in. tall and 50 ft. long, this Powerfields Electric Bee/Bear Netting protects bee hives by deterring bears and other predators. Graduated horizontal spacing is created with 12 strands of UV-stabilized polyethylene and 304 stainless steel wire from 3 in. at the bottom to 8 in. at the top. There are 5 double-spiked, 3/8 in. fiberglass step-in posts integrated into the netting for quick and easy installation. Semi-rigid vertical stays with 7 in. line spacing provide stability and help prevent drooping between posts. Nets may be easily joined using the metal clips at each end and increasing the energizer size accordingly. A 0.15 J minimum low-impedance energizer is required for each net (not included). To prevent electrical shorting during weed growth, the bottom line is non-conductive. Positive-negative setup eliminates the need for a ground rod. Stainless steel conductors will not rust.

  • The net and posts are made in the USA with a 5 year warranty
  • Orange/green
