Pleasant Hearth Pellet Stove 50,000 BTU's with 80lb. Hopper, 2,200 Sq. Ft. is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasant Hearth PH50PS Only had mine for a month and it isn't cold yet but mine is installed and running and it seems to be fuel efficient so far. (had to use a mirror to read the info off the back to get the numbers) The first time I fired it up it did set off the smoke alarm since it has to heat up the paint the first time and after I cleared up the air by opening the windows for a few minutes it was running fine. I already had a previous pellet stove so the exhaust pipe was already installed but I did have to buy extra elbow inside to go from the stove to the wall and also mounted the stove on top of 2 inches of concrete so it was easier to line up the stove pipe to the wall pipe. Now as far as the stove.......I was used to having the ash drawer at the bottom that held all the ash so this is quite different since there is no ash drawer. So far I have been cleaning it every 2 days by vacuuming the burn pot and inside the door and inside the main box BUT after I pulled out the center panel I vacuumed there and then tried to get the screws out to remove the other two panels and the screws are cheap and they should update to better screws that will last and be easy to unscrew since these are hard to get out and I will replace mine once I can finally get them out with some better quality high-temp screws so I can be sure to vacuum behind those two panels. Every few starts one of the fans is a bit noisy at first and after reading here they can replace the fan and I just hope that doesn't mean they have to wait for me to remove the bad one and send it in before they send me that replacement........since sitting in the house freezing and waiting is bad enough if the power goes out so I hope this doesn't ever add to the problems. Another thing is that glass window does not stay cleaner than the old pellet stove did........still has to be cleaned every couple days and still gets dirty the first day after cleaning it perfectly with glass cleaner and wiping completely clean.....but then I was already used to that. The main thing is I hope it works as good as it has so far for many years since my previous one lasted 17 years. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Couldnt be happier Ive only had it a couple weeks but am very pleased with it ,im going thru 2 bags of pellets in a 24 hr period but that keeps my room that is 24x40 with an open balcony around 69 to 71 degrees,my furnance does not come on and i could use less pellets if i turned it down ,i have been running it a little less than half way on auto which is like the second stage it has 5 stages, my house is poorly insulated and drafty ,i would purchase this again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pellet stove We upgraded from an insert. Best decision we made. Love it easy to install and the best part is the amount of pellets it holds.
