Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic holding the aluminum door and flap snapped I bought 6 of the large wall entry doors and all of them are breaking. I’ve only had them for a month. The plastic in the cold is not holding up at all. All the bolts and washers have snapped right out of the brown plastic piece and can’t even be fixed. And there’s no replacement plastics available without buying a whole new door. It would be better if that brown plastic piece was aluminum to hold up against frigid temps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from CHEAP PLASTIC FRAME Just bought the door and installed it. When I secured it to the wall the outer plastic frame holes for the screws broke and the screw went right though the hole. If the plastic was thicker or made of better material it would have been fine but, it's so thin that you if you try tighten it firmly it will break. I used some washers to hold it in place.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor construction I purchased this door and had it installed approx 2 1/2 yrs ago for my 2 Scotties. The piece that forms the frame inside wall is only plastic. Anyone making a product for dogs which says it is good for up to 100 pds should know better. I expected better usage out of this product given the price and brand. After only 1 1/2 yrs the bottom piece cracked and started to sag. This part should either be made of a stronger material or at least the kit should include a piece to go under the frame and support it. I'm not going to purchase a whole new door and have to pay someone again. I don't know if I'm going to be able to rig up something to support that piece so the dogs can still use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 8 yrs and still great My large dog used this door for 8 years (in the heat and cold of the midwest) and it still works great! We had to build a "tunnel" through the wall between the two doors because our wall was thicker than what the door allowed for. But once that work was done the door itself worked perfectly. We get -20F every now and then, when the flip door becomes more rigid and takes longer to close down, but otherwise had no issues. The plastic door slides right into its place when the door needs to be locked.
