Will this product work to stop a small pinhole leak on stainless steel water pipe for a pool heater?

Asked by: Baller4life
Yes, this product should work in that application.

I had to cut through (perpendicularly) threads in a shower valve (Temptrol) in order to remove a brass sleeve that would not come out. Would this product allow me to "fill" those slices? I hope to avoid buying a full replacement valve!

Asked by: Bob_Jor
This is not an application that can be fixed with a chemical product. Permatex recommends the use of physical replacement components.
