Item Information

Motomco Mole Killer Grub

  • Scientifically proven to kill moles
  • Only mole bait registered with the EPA using proven laboratory and field testing with live moles
  • Utilizes the active ingredient Bromethalin, an acute non-anticoagulant
  • Mimics a mole's natural food source: earthworms and grubs
  • Moles can consume a lethal dose in a single feeding and can dies in as little as 2 days
Motomco Mole Killer is available in worm or grub shaped baits and is scientifically proven to kill moles in lawns, yards and gardens. It was designed to mimic a mole's natural food source: earthworms and grubs. Other mole baits have been developed on the premise that moles are similar to rats and mice, when in reality a mole's diet is entirely different, making most pelleted bait ineffective. Developed using extensive lab and field research, Motomco Mole Killer succeeds where other grain baits, repellants and home remedies have failed. Moles can consume a lethal dose of Motomco Mole Killer in a single feeding and die in as little as two days.

Do the gophers make a tunnel as well?

Asked by: SusanT
Yes, Gophers will burrow and make tunnels, however they have an entirely different diet than Moles, so they are unlikely to eat the grub and it's also unlikely that the active ingredient in Mole Killer would have an affect on gophers. A Mole's diet consists of earthworms & grubs, which is why the Mole Killer product is effective - it mimics their natural food source. Gophers typically feed on seeds, roots, rhizomes and it's generally recommended to use a pelleted or grain based bait to control Gophers.

Can it also be effective on armadillos? I believe they also feed on grubs, etc. Is the dead mole/gopher toxic to cats or dogs? Thank You!

Asked by: KDWsr
This product has not been tested on armadillos and is only labeled for control of Moles, so there's no way to know how it would affect other species and we don't recommend using it on armadillos. The product should be applied underground - Moles will die in their tunnels, so unless the dog digs up the ground they should not have access to the worms or the moles after they die. The product is not effective on gophers - their diet is completely different from a mole (they don't eat earthworms or grubs).

Is it safe to apply in a garden where tunnels are found?
