Will this work if the water supply is gravity fed (e.g. little or no pressure)? What is the flow rate in gal/min?

Asked by: StewM
It will work with a gravity fed supply if the supply is at least 55gal and is constantly full. The flow rate is entirely dependent upon the pressure behind the part. With 40lbs of pressure the rate is 2.5 quarts per min.

How do you remove the plastic disk so it will work for a gravity waterer?

Asked by: Leelees
To remove the plastic disc, simply unscrew the red orifice from the stainless steel body, then turn the disc with a screwdriver so one of the outlets on the red orifice is blocked. Next unfurl a paperclip and put it into the blocked outlet of the red orifice. The disc will easily pop out.

Will this work with a pressurized system garden hose

Asked by: Dustin51
It should work provided the pressure is consistent. It the water source is from a residential home, there should be enough pressure.
