Grow bigger, more beautiful plants* with Miracle-Gro Garden Soil All Purpose. This soil for in-ground use feeds plants for up to 3 months and improves existing soil to build strong roots. Use with your outdoor in-ground plants, including flowers, annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs. To apply, spread 2-3 inches of soil in your garden bed or other in-ground area. Mix into the top 6-8 inches of native soil. Dig a hole and plant your new plants. When planting individual plants, dig hole 2x as wide as the container or root ball, and blend a 50:50 mix of garden soil and native soil. To amend garden beds, apply a 3-inch layer of garden soil and work into the top 6 inches of soil. Two 2 cu. ft. bags of Miracle-Gro Garden Soil All Purpose cover 24 sq. ft. of garden at 2-in. depth of soil applied, or 3 bags for a 3-in. depth of soil applied. *Vs. unfed plants

Great outdoor soil for your gardens

I am using this for raised garden beds this fall. I will amend with Black Kow compost prior to spring. I really like this garden soil and I already have various veggie's breaking soil after just a few short days. If you are expecting potting soil this is different. There will be some shreds of wood, bark, and rough woody material in it but that's a good thing. That material will continue breaking down and improve the soil as time goes by. It comes with enough nutrients to last about three months. After that, I recommend amending with compost to avoid chemical fertiliers. Great for outdoor plants. For indoor plants, stick to potting soil.

Never picked it up

My order was marked as picked up and I was charged. I had to go out of town and was unable to pick it up. The email I received said the order would be canceled if it wasn't picked up but this was not the case. Someone at the store marked it as picked up despite me being out of town. I wrote an email to TSC but haven't received a response for several days. This really needs to be resolved.
No, I do not recommend this product.
