Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work! Bought new. Did not work out of the box. Company wants u to call tech line & work on your brand new heater yourself instead of returning to store. I returned it to the store where they acknowledged they had many returns on this particular heater.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Small heater I bought this heater used it 3 times than it would not start again. I spoke with the company and was told the stator was not adjusted proper, I took it apart a readjusted the stator and it is working currently. Heater is of poor quality in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! I bought two for a job site which had no heat and it was down to 20 degrees outside and snowing/ice. Put two in the building and got the temperature up to workable conditions. Mind you this was a 5000 square foot block building, concrete floors and metal roof decking. To get it up even 5 degrees was a plus but these babies got it up at least 20 degrees. Great product! I should have bought the same brand with more btu’s and I would have blown us out of the building.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good heater for the price Bought for an enclosed workspace. Works really well heating in the cold weather, great heat output, and doesn't go through fuel too quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great heater! Bought this a supplemental heater for my metal garage. It's only used until my wood stove gets fired up. Does a great job. I'm using kerosene in it. Not recommended in an airtight space for very long as it does produce fumes and carbon monoxide. But not nearly as bad as a propane forced air heater!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from KICKS BUTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! heats up garage very nice and quick even in extreme cold but it is a little loud.
Date published: 2019-02-26
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plenty of heat, noisy I'm running this on diesel and it puts out lots of heat with very little smell. Heats my 40'x30' hangar in no time even with the entrance door left open for ventilation (not the huge hangar door). The thermostat feature is great and it is very simple to operate. It is also very noisy, but maybe that is to be expected from a forced air heater?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kerosene Heater Our over 40 year old Dayton 100000BTU Kerosene Heater decided this was the winter to quit on us - and at the end of winter season so the selection for heaters of this type were nearly non existent! We found this one, company has been in business a long time, reviews were good. We were afraid 80000BTU was going to be too small for our shop, but it is very adequate. Like the thermostat feature as well as the fuel gauge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from warm but noisy We purchased 2 of these in the past few weeks. They do give off a lot of heat but when the blower is on, they are very noisy. They also seem to give off a lot of odor also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from hot item! Bought this heater a few weeks ago heats up my 24x32 garage from 20°~55° in about 15min. Runing#1 on road fuel works great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast heat, not too loud. I purchased this heater for my insulated 2-stall garage. It was about -15 outside and about +15 inside the garage. Within 10-15 minutes the garage warmed up to 60 degrees and the frozen solid vehicles started melting. I set the built-in thermostat to 60, but the heater kept running. This was due to the cold air radiating off the floor compared to the much warmer air just a couple feet higher as the garage warmed close to 80 degrees at about 6-feet off the ground. I also have a 120v plug in thermostat that I will use to have a more accurate temperature control while leaving the heater on the floor. I am upgrading from a similar sized kerosene heater from the mid 70's. I am very happy with the much cleaner burn of this heater. The smell is very tolerable with just minor venting. My only reason, as of this moment, for a 4-star rating is due to small flames coming about 2-3" beyond the end of the heater. While it doesn't bother me personally, I know it will have the potential to freak some people out. Overall, functions as it should and am happy with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice..... heater. First used my Master 8000 MH-80T-KFA heater in my 30'x40' pole barn (insulated very well) in SE Michigan. It heated it to approx. 50 degrees in 40 minutes when outside temp was 20 w/15mph wind as well as when outside temp was -2 with -34 wind chill. It is replacing a 8000 btu propane salamander which will only be used as a back now. If my pole barn was not as well insulated and drafty, the 125000 or 140000 would be my choice. This heater will heat a normal 2/3 car garage with no problem. I have only ran kerosene with only a slight smell at startup, then can not really smell after heater gets going.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great heater for the money! I bought this heater about a month ago and could not be happier with it. It works great. I am using diesel and it warms the shop quickly and cleanly. Also got peace of mind by getting the 2 year service plan for $29.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features Exactly what i wanted works great. Heats my garage fast.
Date published: 2019-02-19
Rated 4 out of 5 by from works well I have had this heater for about a month and it works well. It will warm my 2 and 1/2 car garage in about 15 minutes and then I will start pealing layers. The thermostat does not work as well as I had hoped but the unit sits on the floor where the temp is a lot cooler. Over all I am happy with the unit. It heats quickly and will warm my tools, wood and space to working temperature. This an upgrade in BTU from the last heater I used. It does naturally use more fuel than my last smaller unit but I am warmer quicker!!

What "cool down cycle"? There is no mention of a "cool down cycle" in my owners manual. When I push the switch to "off" manually...it goes off...immediately. It works the same way on the timer.

Asked by: Sportdog
After the unit is shut off , the fan remains running for 90 seconds to ensure the heat is removed from the unit

Can I use this heater on a timer; for example, to come on every three hours for 15 minutes and then shut off... The thermostat control would waste too much fuel.

Asked by: Sportdog
Using it on a timer will cause the programming on the board to not work correctly and could be dangerous

What difference would it make if I turn it on and off manually vs a timer turning it on and off??? If I turn it off manually, how would that affect the programing? I answered my own question. I put it on a programmable timer and it worked fine.

Asked by: Sportdog
Do not leave it unattended as you risk the cool down cycle not running completely

Hello again - you did not answer my question - I asked about dyed "KEROSENE" not dyed Diesel... Thanks

Asked by: mitch77
None of the fuel can be dyed

I’ve been running mine with Kerosene, but it is getting hard to find.  Do I have to do anything special when switching over from kerosene to diesel?  Does the tank have to be dry of kerosene before switching to diesel to avoid mixing?

Asked by: Cerb1960
No, you can mix the two fuels , we often recommend a 30/70 split with diesel to help with fuel gelling when it is really cold
