Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shed. Long, long construction time. Once this shed is built it's great. But let me tell you. The instructions say 3 people, 4 to 6 hours. Lol yeah right. More like 3 full days with two people. First off it has to be on a totally level surface. If the right side is an inch lower ground level then the left side, it will not line up correctly. Second if you are putting it on wood make sure you use treated wood that is fully outdoor rated. This project took my girlfriend and I about 3 full days to complete. Three and a half if you include the floor. The instructions are confusing also. There are over a thousand parts and the instruction manual is over 100 pages.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missing parts Bought this for over 2 thousand dollars. Took time out of work to build only to find that I received wrong corners so I can't build it at all. Now I need to wait a week for the correct pieces to come in. In the meantime, I have an unfinished shed out in the elements getting worped in the sun! For the price, they should really have people checking to make sure all the correct parts are in the box!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lifetime 15’ x 8’ Duel Entry Shed What a great shed! Well made and provides so much storage. Important to following installation manual, particularly insuring your foundation is level. There are so many parts since the shed is so large. We had one friend reading the manual and telling us what to do. Good idea to have 4-5 friends helping out to complete in one day with breaking for lunch. It took us 6 hours to complete. Have your cell phone handy with a “scan app” installed to watch the helpful scannable instruction videos. With this dual entry shed, NOTE that reference to the “Front Door” is the door on the 8’ Side, not the 15’ side with the “dormer” doors. Lifetime’s Technical Support Team is really helpful and supportive. Great shed and company.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product but execution needs a bit of help Love the shed. The purchase process was super simple in store. However we asked at the store if the center sky lights that run on the peak ran down the entire center in one piece like the model and were assured yes they did. Once set up that was not the case. It was only little squares spaced apart. Also the guys who came to set up, hired through store, were extremely each other. Whenever my husband and I would approach to chat they were not as nice. We felt as if we were bothering them. Also it seemed like this was the first one they set up. Got the job done but it was interesting to see them finally get it built.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from better and easier that I expected I had a good solid foundation ready. All went very well. It only took 2 days for 2 70 year old guys to finish. We had dry weather, a big plus. Read the instruction until you understand them. I found an adjustable torque screwdriver very useful. Looks great. Great product. Samuel

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to our backyard! We bought this shed a month ago and it looks great in our yard! We were in need of some additional space in the garage and this was a great way to improve our yard and give us some of the space that we needed!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what it seems • Directions are unclear. It's written in three different languages, which means it could have been three times more specific had it been only in English. The parts numbering system is ridiculous; it requires that you go on a paper chase/treasure hunt with each new part.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from pretty easy to assemble not a bad shed, could use some re-engineering on the hardware, some screws just a bit too short, check the shutters, i was given a wrong roof piece, called the 800 number, spoke to jonathan and in about a week, i had the correct roof part , next to the last piece to put in, other than that fairly easy, just follow the directions and make sure the four (4) corners are level, that the key.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I Wish I had Never Bought this 8X15 Shed a I would not recommend this building to anyone unless you are willing to pay someone who has assembled one before to assemble it for you. We watched videos on you-tube prior to assembly. It was very aggravating and trying to get this shed assembled. I would sell it in a heartbeat if I could get my money back out of it plus the wood base. I honestly do not believe this shed will last very long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like how everything fit together Just finished assembling shed, have to adjust doors on one side, base is perfectly level so we’ll see. This is not a novice project. Im a commercial electrician and read prints everyday, found instructions challenging. Don’t assume anything read and label all parts. Spent 6 hours prepping shed. Needed help after I got walls up. Waited 14 years to get a shed but have to step aside so that my daughter can use as a playhouse. Good luckl

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shed I purchased this shed and am very happy with it. I put down a concrete pad to make sure I had no problems with the doors, which work great. With the multiple skylights, the interior is well lit. I would recommend this shed to anyone. The only issue was the directions. If the directions were better written, I would say the shed was easy to put together. Even with that, we were able to put the shed together with only minor delays. You do need two people for certain steps, but there were many sections I was able to complete by myself. I highly recommend this shed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Complicated Instructions We finally found the time to start this project. Wow! The instructions need a cryptographer to decipher. Each box is labeled with 3 Letters, each bag is labeled with 3 letters and each part ( screw, nuts, rods, doors, panels, etc) are labeled with 3 letters. The corner panels are listed as 3 letters in instructions then have 3 digit number on each panel. None of the parts have the corresponding letters any where on them. Don’t know who came up with this system, but you feel like you are looking at a bowl of Campbell’s Alphabet soup by the time you are done. My suggestion to the parts department, try the KISS Principal. Keep It Simple Stupid! Go back and number the boxes 1, 2, etc. Letter parts A, B, etc and put a corresponding sticker on the part. We have been 2 days putting this together and only have up the corners and a few panels. Those videos where the panels just slide & pop into place, ha! NOT! It will be nice when we get it finished, but will not recommend this product to any one. Go to local wood shed manufacturer and have pre-built one delivered.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Soft Attachment Points This is the first plastic shed I have put together, Iv'e done metal one's. I have built several homes over the years and find working from prefabbed components a real pain and promised myself to never build another one. That being said this is the shed my daughter chose for her house and I was determined to make her happy. I was disappointed yet again with shoddy design and flimsy anchor points for the screws. The instructions were sub standard and the parts labeling was a joke. I not only could have built this shed far cheaper than the price they charged, but the quality would have been much better. This only solidifies my first thought, never ever do another one of these. Your company needs a better designer and technical writer!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love shed Instructions weren't as easy to follow and the screws fall out to easy and strip out. Maybe use same size screws for everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Man Cave Purchased a 15 x 8 outdoor storage shed for my husband since his old shed was too small for his new lawn tractor. It took us a few days to assemble but when it was finished my husband decided it was to fancy to simply hold his lawn tractor and tools so it is now a "man cave". We may have to purchase another for his "stuff". [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks good so far I have not put mine together yet so cannot say much although the floor seems a little flimsy compared to other sheds I have had. I'm mainly writing this review for the give away contest they are holding so if I win i'll write another good review. if I loose, well no telling what will happen :) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Worth The Money You Invest In This Shed I bought this product in 2012. Its gone thru 6 Noreasters and multiple winters with winds as high as 95 km/h and has never had a problem. It holds up fine to the salt water weather we get in the fall and winter really well. I had one hiccup installing the floor panel at the door panel but will finally fix that this summer. After 6 years I can honestly say that you definitely get your money worth with this product. What a great investment. Irt looks sharp and the panels are holding up extremely well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Better Customer Service I recently bought this dual entry shed. With putting the shed together. we encountered a roof panel that was smaller than the rest. While waiting for the roof panel replacement some additional damage occurred because we were unable to close the roof up completely. Lifetime worked with us throughout the process and stood behind their product and the customer. For this reason, I would recommend this product to anyone I know who is looking for a shed! Customer service is second to none!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't shed a tear .....Patience is a virtue My wife had asked me for probably 5 years to replace our old shed. We had an 8 x 12 wooden structure that had sunk about as deep as the Titanic and housed more critters than the APL. I kept putting it off because I knew there would be more work involved then she realized. I would have to tear down the old shed, build a new foundation for the new shed and construct whatever I purchased. I will admit, I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to building projects. It's the motivation that sometimes holds me back. So before my son headed off to the Marines, he and I tore the old shed down and discarded it in a rental dumpster. That was as fun as a mild root canal. Next I built an 8x15 deck for the new shed. I actually enjoyed that other then digging the 6 post holes. Finally, the shed showed up at my house in 3 neatly packed boxes. The most daunting part of the project was lifting up the instruction booklet. This is a 100 page novel. I really enjoyed looking through the pictures and thinking how nice it would be to have this shed finished. So I had a vacation day, it was 95 degrees outside, and it took me 10 hours to assemble all the pieces before I even put one wall up. The rest of the week I had to work at my real life job. So in the evenings I finished up the rest of the project with a little help from my wife. There were a few head scratching moments with the instructions and I did make 2 calls to Lifetime for clarification. One thing I have learned as I get older is to slow down and read everything a few times. If I still don't understand, I have a beer and relax for a bit. Overall, this is a very nice shed and I have received several compliments from the neighbors. Don't rush the project. It's easily a 20hr job on your own. Have Fun!
