What a waste

There is too much unessasary parts. There's one cord for charging two items. The nylon collar will fit a small horse. The brand I got before at Tractor Supply was perfect. Unfortunately this was the one I had to settle for. I'm very disappointed with Tractor Supply.

Package was delivered in a secure box. I put the collar together easily. I tried the collar on my self, next I tried the collar on my dog . I adjusted the power on the collar, watching my dog for a response .I chose selection #8, she reacted to this setting . We went outside for a trial run. I am well pleased the collar, my dog don't go over the hill anymore! This was the purpose of buying the collar . One happy customer.

Dissapointing range and battery life, but decent.

As far as the tone and vibration the product works well. But the shocking feature seems to run the battery down very quick. I can usually get about 4 corrective shocks out of the receiver before the range decreases dramatically and then 1-2 closer shocks before they loose all effectiveness but the tone and vibration will still work. Works well when it works, but I am very disappointed with battery life and range loss.

Works as described however there is a major design flaw that if you install the spring clip it covers up the USB charging port. You have to uninstall the spring to charge the collar.

Our new puppy had a problem of eating everything, coats, shoes, furniture, carpet and anything inbetween. We try to redirect him with toys and praise him when he did the right thing. However, when we wasnt watching him continuely, he would go back to his old habits. The collar sounds a sound, vibration and electric shock. I use the vibration and sound only. I will not shock him, it hurts. After a couple of vibrating sessions,it stopped him immediately. All I have to do is show him the collar and he behaves without even putting it on him. He has made a complete reversal. Its a conditioned behavior and he has learned only after a very few times of vibration. Love it.

Works exactly as intended, to curb unwanted behavior! We haven’t used the shock function, nor do we intend to. The sound and vibration is enough to deter the bad behavior. Both the remote and the collar charge very quickly and easily and hold their charge for quite a long time, we only use the collar when we are out in the yard.

The collar works very well. I do not know if it is the collar or my dog, but the shock button is rarely used because the vibration seems to work with her. She is a 8 month old golden retriever/blue heeler mix but she had the behavior of the blue heeler and very active. She is behaving like a totally different dog. Thank you so much.

Complicated to put together. Cheap parts that don’t look like they’ll last very long. Put it straight back in the box after seeing its cheap quality. Only 1000 range, which is less than collars of equal price range. Instructions even say that you can’t leave it on your dog for long or risk burning them! Planning to return.
