Will a 10 lb spool of wire work in this welder

Asked by: Mattrose99
The welder can hold 4 or 8-inch spools of wire. The 10 lb spools we have seen are 8-inch ones and therefore, they would fit in the welder. If the spool is over 8 inches, it will not fit in the item.

Make sure you are using a properly grounded 120 Vac, 60Hz, single phase, 20 amp power source that is designed only to the welder. Steel from 18 gauge up to 3/16 inch thick can be welded.

The welder has a voltage selector which controls the welding heat. The voltage selector is labeled MIN and MAX. There is a label inside the welder door for recommended welding settings depending on the welding job. If the MAX control is used the rated output is 80 amps.
