The Hypro 21.8 GPM 6-Roller Cast-Iron Sprayer Pump achieves up to 21.8 GPM (82.5 LPM) and 300 PSI (20.7 bar). Equipped with Viton seals, this sprayer pump is designed to offer the best overall chemical-resistance. The cast-iron sprayer pump also comes equipped with Super Rollers (standard) to provide premium wear and life with poly and PTFE options available for superior chemical-resistance.

This is useful pump for my ag sprayer. It is not hard to install and works well. But it is absolutely critical that you flush it well after use and store it filled with light oil or it will corrode and lock up solid.

Controlling Weeds in the Field

Returned the Hypro 6 sprayer pump because I was able to take apart the old one just like it. I cleaned it up, re lubricated all the parts and it worked well. They need to add a grease fitting like the old ones had or a place to oil the internal parts. It's priced on the high side.

6 roller pump

I've had problems with the 6 roller pumps.
They don't seem to last more than 1 yr.
I can't more than 20-30 lbs of pressure and they leak around the main seal. Not a good product. Maybe most are refurbished!

If the customer was pumping glyphosates like Roundup the stainless steel version is what is recommended. Glyphosates will wear down the cast iron rather quickly and open up the tolerance of the inside of the pump and cause it to lose performance. Open tolerance inside roller pumps is the width of a piece of paper so once that opens up, that is what happens. Most people will purchase the cast iron version because it’s a lot cheaper but you get far longer life out of the “XL” stainless pump. From what the customer stated below, it sound like it’s a chemical compatibility issue.

I requested that the pump be shipped to my local store to avoid the shipping charges. I was kept abreast of the order's progress and notified via text on my cell when it arrived. It was well packed and when I installed it at first it did not work. It turns out that the line was air-bound and once I cleared that the pump worked flawlessly. Great experience and folks at TS are very accommodating and professional. They also had the best price I could find; thanks to the team at TS!

I bought this a few weeks ago for watering a remote garden on our property. With the tractor engine near idle the sprinkler had plenty of pressure. Haven't had to use this yet as it's been a bit wet but worked well in testing.

I replaced my old, defective pump with this new one. It works great with about 70 psi when in recirculate mode on my sprayer and about 50 psi when spraying out through the boom.
