- A: This is a 28cc 2-cycle engine. It is specified for a 50:1 premix of fuel and oil. The product should come with a 2.6 ounce bottle of Husqvarna low-smoke oil to get you started. For future mixtures you should use a high quality 2-cycle oil (the Husqvarna XP+ is very good) mixed at 50:1 (2.6 ounces per gallon of ethanol free fuel).5 years agoHelpful?

I bought the Husqvarna 125 bvx to replace an old homelite blower. I couldn't be more happy! This blower exceeds all of my expectations. It starts easily and does an amazing job at clearing my patio, sidewalks, and driveway. I can't wait to try the mulching feature in the fall..

I have owned my Husqvarna 125b leaf blower for approximately 4 years and used it 1-2 times per week during the mowing season. Last year I began having issues with the spark plug fouling and a loss of power. I tried to adjust the carburetor but was unable to keep the plug from fouling. This spring, I decided to tear it down and get to the bottom of the issue. I found a lot of carbon build-up on the piston as well as a well worn piston ring. After all was said and done, I replaced the carburetor, coil, piston, piston ring, fuel filter, air filter, and spark plug (all genuine Husqvarna parts) hoping that would solve the issue. However, the spark plug continues to foul after 10-15 minutes of continuous use. I am highly disappointed in the quality of this Husky leaf blower and expected much better longevity. I've had good luck with my Husky 460 chainsaw and string trimmer but do not recommend this leaf blower to anyone who expects to get more than a couple years of use out of it. Going to look at Stihl for my next blower.

After my STIHL BG86 stopped working, I decided to upgrade to Husqvarna. I went with the model 125B And For a handheld, the scouring power is incredible—it peeled wet, matted leaves off my sidewalk like they were dry paper. It’s exactly what you’d expect from Husqvarna .The balance is great . My forearm didn't cramp up after 20 minutes of use.
The air purge and auto-return stop switch make starting a non-issue. Usually, it's one prime and two pulls, max.
